On the 11th and 12th of April, 2006, Falun Gong practitioners from France, Germany and Switzerland, went to the Council of Europe in Strasbourg and revealed the harvesting of organs from live Falun Gong practitioners in labour camps and the subsequent cremation of their bodies to eliminate the evidence. They called upon the Council of Europe to pass a resolution to condemn and stop the seven year persecution of Falun Gong practitioners by the CCP and to facilitate an investigation of the persecution and the secret concentration camps.

NGO representatives and members of the Council of Europe condemned the CCP's crimes and urge the international community to conduct an investigation

MP Tadeusz Wita from Poland told reporters that the Auschwitz concentration camp was in Poland. The Polish people will never forget this painful memory. It is intolerable that such a thing still takes place in today's world. He will push the Council of Europe to take part in the investigation of the CCP's concentration camps and harvest of organs from live Falun Gong practitioners. He will lobby his colleagues extensively and will not allow such a cruel persecution to continue.

French Congressman Michel Hunaul said he supported the broadcast by New Tang Dynasty TV station in China. After reading the exhibition boards this time, he repeatedly said that he will help Falun Gong practitioners.

The representatives of the Intentional Alliance for Abolishing Slavery, an NGO of the Council of Europe, said while being interviewed by reporter, "We must reveal this conduct and support people who revealed this conduct."

"We can not be unmoved by conduct that injures personal integrity and human dignity. I am very sad to know these intolerable things. NGOs must stop these atrocities before the world is made less human. I will spread the news and go to places and say, 'People will have a future only by struggling for human rights' ".

Last December, the MEP Alessandra Mussolini issued a written statement suggesting that the European Parliament pass a resolution to condemn the system of the labour reform in China. The statement said, "Labour reform in China was in fact the concentration camp ideology, where violence and violation of human rights took place every day."

The French people express support for the termination of the persecution

Some French people, after learning about the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners by the CCP and the secret concentration camps, said to the reporter one after another:

"This is too terrible! Taking organs from live people! We must stop this kind of crime! The concentration camps must be removed."

"Everybody has human rights; they have no power to forbid the practice of Falun Gong, this kind of crime must be stopped."

"The French government and the Council of Europe should make an effort to safeguard human rights."

"I thought the Nazi concentration camps in World War II were a thing of the last century. I never expected that there are concentration camps in today's China. Such a tragedy can't re-occur."

A French student signed the petition to support Falun Gong practitioners

A French policeman who was responsible for the security of the European Council said, "I will tell the news of the persecution of Falun Gong to my friends and colleagues and hope the crimes can be stopped as soon as possible." He also requested extra information to be sent to people he knew.

A lot of French people signed their names to express support for Falun Gong's practitioners and urged the international community to make an effort to stop the cruel persecution of Falun Gong practitioners by the CCP as soon as possible.
