The World Cup opened on June 9th in Germany and football fans from across the world gathered in Munich. In front of the Palace and State Theatre, German Falun Gong practitioners demonstrated the five sets of Falun Gong exercises and told people about the persecution against practitioners in China. The German practitioners re-enacted some of the torture methods used by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) to force practitioners in China to renounce their beliefs.

The practitioners raised awareness about the organ harvesting in Chinese prisons and concentration camps that has recently come to light. They simulated some of the scenes of the CCP stealng living practitioners' organs to sell for profit before cremating the practitioners' body to destroy any evidence.

In March of this year, live organ removals in the CCP's secret concentration camp in Sujiatun were exposed. A veteran medical doctor in Shenyang pointed out that there are 36 similar concentration camps across the country. Some witnesses said that the organ removal started in 2000 and reached its peak in 2001 and 2003. These crimes continue in China's prisons and forced labour camps. After the exposure, CCP hastened to eliminate evidence and witnesses.

People in Munich were shocked after learning the facts. They signed the petition to condemn the CCP's atrocities. The people signing the petition came from Germany, South Korea, Taiwan, Afghanistan, Austria and Romania. An older couple from Taiwan signed their names and said to a practitioner: "You have worked hard." Two young people from Romania said: "You don't need to explain more. We know very well what the Communist Party is capable of." A young man from South Korea remarked after reading the leaflet: "Too inconceivable. Too horrible." Mr. Barler from Berlin told a reporter, " I oppose the CCP's barbarity. How can human beings tolerate such atrocities as live organ removal?"

Ms. Dohmen, a nurse from Germany, said, "I have been a nurse for my whole life. We also conducted organ transplantation, but the organs were harvested from dead people and required approval beforehand. I think that everyone visiting China, especially people like Prime Minister Ms. Merkel, should stand up to speak to the Chinese government about this."
