Ireland: Dubliners Demand that the Chinese Communist Party Stop the Persecution of Falun Gong

On July 20th 2006, Falun Gong practitioners from Ireland held a rally on O’Connell Street in Dublin to condemn the persecution of Falun Gong by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). Many passers by joined the practitioners in callng for an end to this brutal persecution. They watched the re-enactments of torture methods used against practitioners and signed the petition calling for an end to the abuses.

Due to practitioners’ raising awareness about the persecution over the last seven years, many people in Ireland are well aware of the persecution. The persecution is unacceptable to Irish people, especially the organ harvesting. Thousands of people wrote to the Prime Minister of Ireland, requesting the Irish government to condemn CCP brutality and take actions to stop the persecution.
