Falun Dafa Practitioner Mr. Wang Xiaolun's Whereabouts Unknown, His Wife Arrested when Enquiring about her Husband

Falun Dafa practitioner Wang Xiaolun is from Xiong County, Hebei Province. After he was detained in the Gaobeidian Detention Centre for a month, Zhao Yun from Gaobeidian National Security Division took him away, on the morning of July 7th, 2006. On July 6th, 2006, Wang Xiaolun’s wife Guo Donghua went to the detention centre and asked for the release of her husband. Instead, she was arrested. Three people were involved in her arrest. They are Su Shiliang, from the National Security Division in Xiong County, Zhao Kejun and Zhao Jun, from the Gaobeidian National Security Division. Practitioner Wang Xiaolun’s family members went to Xiong County Police Department to enquire about the couple's whereabouts. Su Shiliang refused to see them. Later the Chengkuan Town Chinese Communist Party (CCP) Committee head said Mr. Wang's wife Ms. Guo Donghua had been sent to Baoding City and was forbidden to see anyone.

Practitioner Wang Xiaolun decided in September 2000 to leave home and move from place to place in order to avoid being persecuted. Mr. Wang was away for more than six years. His family suffered much during those years. Agents from the county 610 Office¹, from the local police station and the county police department kept harassing and threatening his family. Mr. Wang’s grandma passed away due to sickness during that time and so did his father. The couple was unable to see them for the last time. Wang Xiaolun’s elderly mother had to take care of the two young children by herself.

Wang Xiaolun was arrested this year and locked up in the Gaobeidian Detention Centre for a month. His family members went to the detention centre recently and asked for his release. Around 11:00 a.m. on July 6th, 2006, Wang Xiaolun was taken to a hospital for a medical checkup. At noon, his family members went to see Zhao Jun at the Gaobeidian National Security Division and asked to see Wang Xiaolun. Zhao Jun begrudgingly agreed for them to wait in the detention centre at 3:00 p.m. that day. Zhao Jun reported this visit to Zhao Kejun, the division head. Zhao Kejun called the National Security Division in Xiong County. Six people from Xiong County, including National Security Division head Su Shiliang and the head of the Politics and Law Committee (Liu Zhiyuan) went to the detention centre at 2:00 p.m. and arrested Ms. Guo Donghua who was waiting to visit her husband.

At 3:00 p.m. on July 6th, Wang Xiaolun’s other family members visited Mr. Wang. He told them that he was going to be taken somewhere the next day. The next day around 8:00 a.m., while Mr. Wang’s family members waited in the detention centre, they saw Zhao Jun and two other people, including a driver arriving with a document in hand. They went into the cell and forcibly dragged Wang Xiaolun into a car and took him away.

Wang Xiaolun’s family members tried to stop them. Zhao Jun threatened, "You will be arrested if you make trouble." The family members asked where Mr. Wang was being taken. Zhao Jun refused to answer and just said he was being taken "for education."

Wang Xiaolun looked very thin in the detention centre and his spirits were low. No one knows how much he suffered at the detention centre. The exact location where Mr. Wang’s wife Guo Donghua is detained is unknown as well. The police and local government officials refuse to tell the family any details.

The arrest and detention of Wang Xiaolun and his wife brought Mr. Wang’s mother further suffering. She came close to a mental breakdown.
