On February 24th 2007, Falun Gong practitioners in Russia gathered near the Kuziminki metro station in Moscow to expose the Chinese Communist regime’s brutal persecution of Falun Gong, especially the atrocity of the regime’s organ harvesting from living Falun Gong practitioners.

They used eye-catching display boards including large photos of Chinese practitioners who were persecuted to death and banners in both Chinese and Russian reading, "The Chinese Communist regime harvests organs from Falun Gong practitioners illegally detained in prisons and forced labour camps for lucrative profits", "The genocide in China is a threat to modern civilization", "Silence towards the Chinese Communist regime’s atrocity will threaten Russia’s future" and "Immediately end the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China." Practitioners also displayed banners reading, "Falun Dafa – Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance" and, "The world needs Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance". The banners appealed to the conscience of the Russian people.

The day was extremely cold. The police on duty stayed in the police van since it was so cold. Although the Falun Gong practitioners’ hands holding up the banners became red due to the cold weather and their feet ached from the cold, their hearts were very warm and they wanted to help people know the truth about the persecution.

In order to help people see the evil nature of the Chinese Communist regime and awaken people’s conscience, for about a month now Falun Gong practitioners in Moscow have used every Saturday, the day the law permits people to hold individual protests without a permit, to go to the Chinese Embassy and expose the atrocity of the Chinese Communist regime’s harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners for lucrative profits.

Disregarding the heavy snow and chilling wind, practitioners persevere in the activity in shifts from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., never missing a single day. Many Chinese and Russian people were moved by the practitioners’ perseverance, their strong righteous thoughts and high spirits. A nearby Moscow resident said to a practitioner: "I often walk around here and see you using your own spare time to appeal for other people. I am very moved. What can I do to help you?" The practitioner replied, "You can sign our petition to show your support." Many Chinese people not only accepted leaflets about Falun Gong, but also had their photo taken with practitioners. Even some people in the Chinese Embassy took leaflets.
