On March 11th, 2007, Falun Gong practitioners from Washington D.C. attended the St. Patrick's Day Parade for the fourth year in a row.

106 groups attended the parade this year, some from as far away as New Jersey and Ohio. It was sunny and warm that day. The colour green, seen everywhere in the parade, brought people the feeling of spring.

Falun Gong practitioners made a big green banner, which says "Falun Dafa" in both English and Chinese, for the parade. Young practitioners from different nations demonstrated the exercises in the lotus flowers on the float. Six celestial maidens dressed in green danced around the float. Dragon and lion dances attracted many spectators. The host of the parade introduced Falun Dafa to the spectators when the group passed by the stage.

Many people said that they often saw news about the persecution of Falun Gong on TV, and they were glad that Falun Gong practitioners can attend the parade in this free country. Some spectators said that Falun Gong's teaching--"Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance" is very good.
