Cases of Karmic Retribution in China

Editors' Note: In both Western and Chinese culture, the principle of karmic retribution, that is, being held ultimately accountable for one's own actions, is widely accepted. The fundamental teaching of Falun Gong is the characteristic of the universe, "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance." The universe will reward actions that are in harmony with this principle, while actions such as beating, torturing and murdering people will incur karmic retribution. Stated another way, good deeds will be rewarded with good, while evildoings will meet due retribution.

Shandong Province Detention Centre Director Dying of Cancer Following Abuse of Falun Dafa Practitioners

Yang Jinquan was the Wulian County Police Detention Centre director in Rizhao County, Shandong Province. He was nicknamed "Yang, the Dark-Faced Man" for his violent nature. After the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) started to illegally persecute Falun Gong on July 20th, 1999, Yang personally beat every single practitioner detained at his centre. His violence caused many injuries; some practitioners' hair was pulled out and even senior citizens in their 60's were not spared. Yang slapped one elderly man so hard that he lost several teeth.

Yang Jinquan was recently diagnosed with terminal liver cancer. We want to tell all evildoing police officers and people who participated in persecuting Falun Gong practitioners: Karmic retribution is a heavenly principle! Stop persecuting Falun Gong practitioners! Treasure your own lives! Stop assisting the wicked Party that orders you to abuse practitioners!

Guard Dong Xiaofeng of the Baimalong Forced Labour Camp in Zhuzhou City, Hunan Province Receives Karmic Retribution

Dong Xiaofeng, 29, is a guard at the Baimalong Forced Labour Camp in Zhuzhou City, Hunan Province. He got drunk during a party on January 25th, 2007 and was subsequently rushed to the Second Hospital affiliated with the Xiangya Medical School in Changsha City. Doctors in the Seventeenth Clinic (Neurology Department) diagnosed him with cerebritis (a bacterial brain infection).

Dong Xiaofeng had actively participated in the persecution of practitioners at the Baimalong Forced Labour Camp. The rule of karmic retribution is fair and strict; it cannot be avoided.

A Case of Karmic Retribution in Jiaozhou City, Shandong Province

Zhao Tonghai is a teacher in the No. 14 Middle School in Jiaozhou City. While he worked as the 7th grade head teacher between 2005 and 2006, he read his students some CCP documents slandering Dafa. Recently he was punished by the rule of karmic retribution. On the 15th day of the Chinese New Year, he sustained a severe eye injury while playing with fireworks.

We heard that Zhao Tonghai was a qualified teacher. However, because he was fooled by the wicked Party and became the Party's mouthpiece to slander Falun Dafa, he received karmic retribution.

Detention Centre Head Develops Cancer after Persecuting Falun Gong

Liu Yandong is the detention centre head at Yuexi County, the Liangshan Area in Sichuan Province. He has actively participated in the persecution of Falun Gong since the persecution began on July 20th, 1999. Liu personally hit Falun Gong practitioners and used handcuffs and shackles to torture them. He was feeling uncomfortable recently and vomited blood. His diagnosis was late-stage stomach cancer.

Man Receives Karmic Retribution after Removing a "Quit the CCP" Poster

A retired official and veteran Party member named Zhao Guoyun lives in Xinyun Township of the Middle District, Leshan City in Sichuan Province. Zhao refused to listen to practitioners' truth-clarification and refused to read the fliers handed to him. He chose to believe only the wicked CCP's lies. One day he saw a poster on a power pole next to his home. The poster said, "Heaven will eliminate the CCP; quit the party and save your own life!" No one dared to touch the poster. Zhao let his emotions get the best of him and tore it down. That same night, he became ill and could not get out of bed. His family sent him to a hospital and he was diagnosed with partial paralysis. Villagers said he received karmic retribution for tearing up the poster.

A Man in Chongqing Dies After Persecuting Falun Gong Practitioners

Cao Minjun, 42, was a Party member and veteran soldier. His home was in Longhuai Village, Huayan Township, Tongnan County, Chongqing City. During a CCP conference in July 2005, he handed a note to the organiser, demanding that three Falun Gong practitioners (former members of the CCP) go up to the stage to be humiliated. He also asked that these practitioners write "guarantee statements" to give up Falun Gong. In January of 2006, one month after he was diagnosed with cancer, Cao Minjun died.

Chongqing Detention Centre Guard Receives Karmic Retribution

Mr. Xu Yuancheng, 50, was a guard at Chongqing City Tongnan Detention Centre. In July of 2002, a Falun Gong practitioner concealed a Falun Gong paper in the clothes delivered to a prisoner. Xu found out about the paper and insisted on sending the practitioner to Zhang Liang, head of the 610 Office. The practitioner told Xu not to do this, clarified the truth to him, and told him that if he protects Falun Dafa practitioners, he will be rewarded in the future. However, Xu refused to listen and called Zhang Liang. As a result, the practitioner was arrested at the reception office and later sentenced one and a half years of forced labour. In January of 2004, Xu Yuancheng died of cancer.

Village Head in Liaoning Receives Karmic Retribution for Persecuting Practitioners

Wang (surname, male) was a village head in Mopan Township in Dalian City, Liaoning Province. After July 20th, 1999 when the CCP started the persecution of Falun Gong, he actively participated in the persecution and always monitored practitioners' activities. When practitioners went to his house to clarify the truth, he refused to listen and even cursed Falun Dafa and its founder, Master Li. Whenever he saw signs and messages posted by practitioners, he would tear them up.

On the evening of February 17th, 2007 (Chinese New Year's Eve), he was shooting off fireworks. A fire cracker hit his right eye. In the hospital, the doctor found that his eye was bleeding and the injury was severe. Wang has not fully recovered. The accident cost him a lot of money and his medical bills are still mounting.

Some people say it was a random accident, but others say this was a consequence of his bad thoughts and bad behaviour.

Zhang Jingzhi in Inner Mongolia Dies for Her Involvement in the Persecution

Before the persecution began in July of 1999, Ms. Zhang Jingzhi was the Falun Dafa coordinator in Huhhot City, Inner Mongolia. After the persecution started, Zhang betrayed Falun Dafa. She went so far that she even helped the CCP to persecute other practitioners. She became an informant to help the police and the 610 Office. She followed and monitored practitioners' activities and took advantage of her old role as a coordinator and deceived practitioners into contacting her. She told them that she had some materials and needed more. She took money from practitioners who were unaware of her real situation. She even helped the police to arrest practitioners.

Zhang went too far, could not go back, and eventually ruined her own life. In October of 2006, Zhang was hit by a car and died on the spot. This tragedy verified the old saying: "Heaven is watchful and no one can escape karmic retribution." We hope that all those who have gone astray will learn from her hard lesson.
