Four years ago, agents from the National Security Bureau attempted to deceive me into cooperating with them. I firmly refused. I realised that my arrest and persecution were actually traps that they had prepared, to influence me to work with them.
Agents from the National Security Bureau often choose Dafa practitioners with higher education degrees as their targets. If practitioners know a bit of computer technology, speak a foreign language, have relatives in other countries or have been abroad, they will be special targets. The purpose of the agents' activities is to damage Dafa from within, and to damage practitioners worldwide. I know several young Dafa practitioners in their thirties or forties with graduate degrees. Agents from the National Security Bureau have visited them and tried to recruit them to be internal spies among Dafa practitioners. But they refused firmly.
After the agents select their targets, they will spend time to investigate. Actually they don't have especially clever techniques. What they do is tap telephones and monitor people by following them. For example, they knew all the contents of my telephone conversations and Internet communications during the six months before I was arrested (at the time I didn't know how to use software to break through the Internet blockade). They could tell the names of those who made phone calls to me and their relationship with me; they even could tell the details of the phone conversations and the time of the calls. They knew your characteristics, your social circles, your family details, everyday habits and hobbies.
When they think the time is right, the agents will set a trap and make an arrest. Sometimes they will cooperate with the agents from the Public Security Bureau, but other times they won't let the Public Security Bureau know what they are doing. On most occasions the Public Security Bureau has no right to mind the affairs of the National Security Bureau, because the National Security Bureau has a "grand order from above" -- a so-called mandate "to protect the security of the nation." The National Security Bureau can even command the Public Security Bureau to arrest people. The person who talked with me said, "Unlike the Public Security Bureau, we have a bigger task. What's the use of simply arresting one or two people? Tell me who you want to see and we will bring him here immediately." In many areas the National Security Bureau even cast away their guise as agents and directly arrest Dafa practitioners. The National Security Bureau and the Public Security Bureau are the goons of the Chinese Communist Party and collude with each other in persecuting Falun Dafa practitioners.
At a certain point, normally when you have been detained for half a year or, on some occasions, at the start of your detention, agents from the National Security Bureau will come to talk to you. They will first elaborate the seriousness of the situation and make you feel like you will be sentenced to death. Agents once said to me, "Do you know why it is that we come to see you? Do you know what we are taking care of? We are dealing with the big cases that involve the security of the nation. It doesn't matter if you don't say anything. We already know everything. We even know the things that your closest fellow practitioners don't know. Right? For those cases that involve the security of the nation, there is no limit to the punishment and we don't need to present evidence. You can receive the death penalty." If you become scared, then they will take advantage of it immediately. As soon as they see that you are scared, they will change their attitude and act as if they really care about you. They will guarantee that they will find ways to have you released. All of a sudden, things turn around. They are now the people who rescue you, not the ones who persecute you. An agent once said to me, "I can guarantee that I will have you released within a month and you can go to work as usual and browse the Minghui (Clearwisdom) website as usual." I asked him, "Who are you? How come you can make such a guarantee? Why should I believe you? Can you show me your legal documents?" He had nothing to say.
The thug-like methods adopted by the agents are shameless and malicious. They arrest you or detain you first, put you in an isolated and painful situation and apply psychological pressure. Then they give you a way out and make you feel that this is the only way you can survive. From then on they deceive you all the way. In the whole process they never regard you as a human being and never consider your basic human rights. They do whatever they want and say whatever they want to say. They purposefully harm your spirit as well as your physical body. They take for granted their thug-like behaviour. They do so very naturally and habitually. The Chinese Communist Party has injected much poison into their heads.
The agents know that what they do is shameless and base. They pretend to be strong, but in reality they are weak and dark inside. When they are going to talk about their real purpose - they want you to cooperate with them and want you to be an agent or spy - they behave very secretively and even ask the supervising guards to go out. When they see that you are hesitating, they will use various methods and techniques to tempt you. They will do it once, twice or three times if necessary. If you are really not moved by them, then they have no way to deal with you.
Today I'm exposing the agents' persecution techniques to inform the public about the persecution of Dafa practitioners. At the same time I want to warn fellow practitioners to be aware of the agents' techniques, so that practitioners can be prepared and determined in cultivation.
I warn those agents of the National Security Bureau who act as goons, whether voluntarily or involuntarily: Dafa measures everything. Please do not work for the Party and don't persecute Dafa practitioners any more, for the sake of your own future.
