In early February of 2004, my husband, who did not practice Falun Dafa, developed severe symptoms of a stroke after having drunk and smoked and neglected his health for many years. Half his body was paralyzed and he could not go to the bathroom without assistance. When he went to the hospital for treatment, the CT scan detected that his eyes were not healthy, as blood clots blocked the sight nerve. The doctor waved a wooden stick in front of his eyes, but he could not see anything. After over 20 days of intravenous injections and taking medicine orally, his symptoms improved a little, although he still could not see. When we went through the procedure for him to be released from the hospital, the doctors said, "Don't seek treatment anywhere, as cases like these are incurable and it would just be a waste of your time and money."

After we got home, I told my husband that perhaps his eyes would get better if he recited "Falun Dafa is great" and "Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance are great." My husband had faith in me, as I once had illnesses all over my body, all of which vanished after I began to practice Falun Gong. He started to recite these words every day.

After two months, miracles indeed happened, as he could see flies in our room and could tell time from a watch. At first I could not believe that a person who did not practice Falun Gong could have his eyesight restored simply by reciting "Falun Dafa is great." I put out my fingers and asked him to count them, and he counted them correctly. Our happiness at that time was beyond description. Falun Dafa and the practices founder Mr. Li Hongzhi restored my husband's eyesight.

My husband is very grateful to Master Li Hongzhi.
