October 1st is the date that the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) seized power and began governing China. On September 29th, before “China’s sad day”, the Service Centre for Quitting the Party in Spain held an activity at Puerta del Sol in Madrid to support the 27 million Chinese withdrawals from the CCP and collected signatures.
The volunteers from the service centre set up information boards and photos. Although it was cloudy and rainy, many people came to view the material and sign their names. People were shocked by the brutal history of the CCP depicted in the photos and other material.
Everybody was shocked by the brutal persecution. People were angry when they learned about the CCP harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners. They signed their names to condemn the CCP and support Falun Gong practitioners and Chinese withdrawals from the Party. A reporter from EFE, the biggest newspaper in Spain, passed by the activity and took a lot of photos.
An old gentleman said to the volunteers, “I wish the dictatorial power will disappear as soon as possible.” Some Chinese tourists were interested in knowing details about the recent withdrawals from the party. They took some copies of the Epoch Times newspaper's editorial, the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party and other material. A few Chinese people, who live in Madrid, also expressed their feeling that Chinese people can have freedom only if the CCP collapses.
