United Kingdom: Tolerance and Compassion Helps to Spread the Truth in Cambridge

Cambridge attracts many tourists from all over the world. They come here in an endless stream every day, with more seen at weekends and when the students are on holidays. The recent economic growth in China has made a small portion of people rich. So even more Chinese people are travelling to the UK. Giving up their time every weekend, Falun Gong practitioners in Cambridge spend the day in the city centre raising awareness about Falun Gong among Chinese visitors and tourists from all over the world. They call for an end to the cruel persecution of Falun Gong by the Chinese Communist Party and hope to persuade Chinese people to quit the CCP and its associated organisations. Practitioners distribute the Epoch Times newspaper's editorial, the “Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party”.

Among the Chinese tourists traveling here, many were officials and wealthy people. For their own vested interest, they have listened to and believed the propaganda of the evil CCP. They dared not take the leaflets because they were temporarily unable to tell right from wrong. Falun Gong practitioners remained positive and did not stop telling them about the “Nine Commentaries on the CCP” and the significance of quitting the CCP and its associated organisations. Unwilling to listen, some of the tourists showed ill feeling and even viciously slandered Falun Gong. Facing this, the practitioners still told them with a smile: “What we are doing like this is for your own good,” and told them: “It is justice that good will be rewarded with good and evil with evil. The coming disaster in China is targeted at the crimes committed by the CCP. Only by breaking away from the CCP and its associated organisations can you be safe and sound, without getting involved”. Falun Gong practitioners advised them: “Don’t keep muddle headed, all lives are valuable.” At this, most of them no longer bore malice and accepted the information.

Standing by the road side are the desks and posters of the Service Centre for Quitting the CCP. The eye catching number of the people quitting the CCP and its associated organisations up to the same day is announced every week. Meanwhile, every week the staff of the Service Centre for Quitting the CCP come and distribute to the tourists and passersby the newspapers, the “Nine Commentaries on the CCP” and other materials about the truth.
Every week, there are people with predestined relationship who have understood the truth withdrawing from the evil CCP and its associated organisations. There are also Chinese students studying abroad who come here of their own accord to learn about the truth. They tell the Falun Gong practitioners their real names or childhood names and ask to quit the CCP and its associated organisations after they have understood that even they are over age and no longer the Communist Young Pioneers and Communist Youth League members, they still find it necessary to declare their withdrawal from the CCP and its associated organisations and actively to break away from the evil CCP’s organisations in order to entirely cast off the control and poisoning of the evil spectre of the CCP.

Some people who were not clear about the truth said that Falun Gong practitioners and the voluntary workers of the Service Centre for Quitting the CCP were not patriotic and were a disgrace. But when the staff of the Service Centre for Quitting the CCP had told them about the truth, the three young people who were travelling at their own expenses, said at the same time, “Right, loving the country does not mean loving the Party”. They all happily nodded their agreement to withdraw from the evil CCP organisations.
