Masanjia Forced Labour Camp Guards Order Prisoners to Continuously Torture Practitioner Mr. Zhao Jian

On September 21st, 2007, thirteen practitioners were transferred from the Tuanhe Prisoner Dispatch Centre in Beijing City to the Masanjia Forced Labour Camp in Liaoning Province

On the afternoon of October 12th, Mr. Zhao Jian refused to work as a slave labourer. Zhang (male), one of the camp supervisors ordered two prisoners to trample on his legs in order to force him to kneel, but Mr. Zhao firmly resisted. The same scenario was repeated four or five times and finally, some of the guards told other prisoners to take away most of Mr. Zhao's clothes, leaving only one outer garment. Mr. Zhao was forced to work in a corn field without appropriate clothing, although it was extremely cold. At night, the guards told thirty prisoners to make sure Mr. Zhao would give up his belief in Falun Dafa. He was forced to work until midnight for two days.

Mr. Zheng Haitao, about 40 years old, is a practitioner from Hebei Province. Presently, he is detained in the same labour camp. The director of his division is named Zhao (male).

Mr. Zhang Shuxing, who is about 60 years old, is being detained in squad 3 of division 1 at the camp. He was beaten by the guards, which caused the prosthetic bridge in his mouth to break. Mr. Zhang was deprived of his basic rights, such as the right to see visitors and being allowed to make phone calls. The director of his division is Gao Ling (male). The political director is Tan (male). The director of his workshop is Jing (male).

Currently, there are approximately 70 practitioners detained at the Masanjia Forced Labour Camp.
