On December 29th 2007, the European Celestial Land Marching Band, consisting of 120 Falun Gong practitioners from more than ten European countries, attended the New Year Parade in Paris. Falun Gong practitioners also performed in the parade.

Two parades were held on the 29th. The first one was in the morning and went through the 13th District and Place D’ Italie; The second was in the afternoon and went through Belleville, the third District and Place de la Republique.
The Celestial Land Marching Band performed a selection of mostly original songs, with titles that included Falun Dafa is Good, The Fa Drum, The Fa Rectifies the Universe, Blessing, and Ode to Joy. Some people told this reporter that they heard the music at home, so they ran out to see the performance of the band. Spectators said the music was very powerful and the Falun Gong practitioners’ group looked wonderful.
