An Amazing Recovery from Leukaemia and Cancer

I'm a farmer in Shandong Province of China. In the beginning of 2006, I started to suffer from a severe stomach pain. Eventually the doctors told my family that I had stomach cancer and that I needed surgery.

I spent a total of over 30,000 yuan for the surgery after which I returned home to recover. Unfortunately despite the surgery, the problem became more serious. I had no appetite, my digestion was non-existent, my face was very pale and I felt extremely weak.

In the spring of 2007, I was also diagnosed with leukaemia. I had to be hospitalised again, spending more than 20,000 yuan. This cost my family their entire savings over the years, and we had to borrow a lot of money.

My family members asked the doctor about the risks involved in experimenting with alternative treatments. The doctor said that one possibility could be that my brain cells may rupture resulting in imminent death and that at any stage I may also suffer from sharp pains throughout my whole body.

After returning home from the hospital, my daughter sent some drugs for treating leukaemia, saying her neighbour had recovered from the same disease after using them. However, I had severe allergic reaction after taking the injections. My whole body felt extremely painful and my appetite weakened. For the sake of my family, I gritted my teeth and adhered to a course of treatments.

At that moment, I was so emaciated that I barely looked human. I had lost all my colour and I could not breathe evenly. My family secretly prepared a special cloth for me to wear after my passing. At that time, I did not dare to look at anyone in my family. I suffered both from the torture of my illness, and the pain of knowing that soon I would leave this world and my family.

On August 13th of this year, my cousin returned home and heard about my illness. She immediately came to my home and said: "Now that you are in this condition, there is no doctor who can save you. Only Falun Dafa can save you. If you and your family sincerely recite 'Falun Dafa is good, and Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance is good.' You will feel the benefits."

Listening to her words I felt a bright warmth in my heart, knowing that I had chance to carry on. Someone had told me before about reciting these words, and today my cousin said the same thing. Hearing such comments I thought that there must be some truth there so my family and I started to sincerely recite these words every day.

A miracle happened! Gradually, I was able to eat and sleep. I then recited the words with more confidence.

Gradually, I sat up and a month later I was able to walk. This was wonderful! It is Falun Gong who had saved me and gave me a second life!

I now have the book Zhuan Falun which I treat as a treasure. When I look at the photo of Falun Gong's founder, Mr Li Hongzhi, my tears start falling. I want to stand in the streets, telling everyone who passes by that I once had cancer and leukaemia but that I am now cured.

I will do my best to tell my true story to as many people as possible so that they too can have the chance to cultivate and benefit from this great practice.
