French practitioners were invited to participate in the Paris Parade Festival, the annual New Year parade held in Chantilly near Paris. The Falun Gong contingent was made up from the European Paradise Orchestra, practitioners demonstrating the Falun Gong exercises, as well as performances, floats, fairies, Tang Costume displays and so on. It was a colourful scene and voices of encouragement and support could be heard incessantly.

Falun Gong practitioners also distributed along the street a large number of well produced leaflets in four languages: Chinese, French, English, and German to introduce the Goodness of Falun Gong and the brutal persecution of the Chinese Communists as well as the wish from the Heaven Orchestra members to play melodies from the realm of paradise. After hearing the truth, the people felt sad to hear about the persecution suffered by Falun Gong practitioners in China and wished the Chinese people would enjoy freedom sooner.
The truth is the best new year gift and blessings that Falun Gong practitioners brought to the people.
