Hexing Brainwashing Centre in Deyang City, Sichuan Province Exposed

The "Advocating Scientific Education School" in Deyang City, Sichuan Province is actually a deceptive name for a brainwashing centre established by the 610 Office¹ in Deyang City, also known as the Hexing Brainwashing Centre . It is located between Guanghan City and Hexing Town near the Hexing Bridge. It is a three-story building, with wired, steel-netted windows, resembling a cage. The arrested practitioners are jailed in this building. Occasionally, practitioners standing near windows can be seen from the outside. There are additional structures within the walls of the main building, and the size of the facility is approximately twenty five acres.

In recent years, the Hexing Brainwashing Centre has been identified as a site for the detainment and persecution of large numbers of practitioners from Deyang City, Guanghan City, Shifang City, and other surrounding areas; some practitioners have been tortured to death in this prison.

Since July 2008, the Chinese Communist Party has arrested over forty practitioners from Guanghan City and the surrounding areas. At least twenty were detained at the brainwashing centre, while the remaining practitioners were jailed in the Guanghan City Detention Centre located at Nanchang Road, Luocheng Town, Guanghan City.

At this time, practitioners continue to be arrested, and then they are taken to the Hexing Brainwashing Centre via the front gate, which is protected by armed guards.
