The Truth-Compassion-Forbearance Art Exhibition has been shown in the Pingdong High School Art Building since September 1st, 2008. The exhibition was jointly hosted by the Taiwan Falun Dafa Association and Pingdong High School. Teachers, students, retired teachers, parents, and alumni viewed the paintings. On September 5th, President Li Liang-mo accompanied the director of the Student Parent Association to see the paintings again.
More than forty students in the first year class came to view the paintings with a teacher after class. They all signed the petition calling for an end to the persecution of Falun Gong in China. Some of them said that they would tell their fellow students in other classes about the exhibition. Four alumni studying at Daye University told the guide after viewing the paintings that the exhibition made a profound, life-changing impact on them.
Miss Chang, an employee at Baocheng Life Insurance, came to view the paintings with a colleague. She said she fully accepted the principles of Truth-Compassion-Forbearance, though she had known about Falun Gong for only over one month."Especially when I am anxious, Truth-Compassion-Forbearance helps me a lot. I promote Falun Gong practitioners' music to my customers," Ms. Chang said.
Mr. Cai, who has conducted business in mainland China for over twenty years, came to see the paintings many times. He said, "The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) will surely disintegrate. People across the world can then be saved." He said that lies are spread throughout Communist China and that it is pitiful that the general public is deceived by the lies. He said that some people in remote areas do not even know about the persecution of Falun Gong.
Mr. Qiu, who is retired from the Art Department at Pingdong High School, said after viewing the paintings, "Each painting has its own features. They not only carry grace, but present a perceptive message to guide people towards goodness. They have rich educational meaning."
