A grand evening reception was held in the Stadshus Stockholm after the Nobel Prize Awards. More than thirteen hundreds VIPs from around the world attended the reception, including the Royal Family, Nobel Prize winner, politicians and scholars from many countries.

Falun Gong practitioners started a peaceful appeal at 5:00pm to call for VIPs from all over the world to pay attention to the brutal persecution of Falun Gong in China by the CCP for the past nine years. They also call for kind hearted people to help end the persecution.

It was windy, rainy and snowy that evening. Falun Gong practitioners quietly stood in the storm. Candlelight and a bonfire lit up their banners reading 'Falun Gong' and 'Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance'. VIP cars slowly passed in front of the Falun Gong practitioners.

A passerby took a flier from a Falun Gong practitioner. A young man learning about the persecution stood together with Falun Gong practitioners for a long time. A law school student from the Netherlands took pictures of Falun Gong practitioners' activities. He said, “I am doing research on human rights issues. I am paying special attention to human rights in China.” He listened to Falun Gong practitioners and took some fliers. Many passersby nodded at Falun Gong practitioners and gave them the thumbs-up sign.

Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Zhang said, “The evil Chinese Communist Party tramples on human rights. It has never stopped the persecution of Falun Gong for one day. Their means are getting more disguised and despicable so that it would avoid international condemnation. Laws in China only exist in name. We will tell more people about the evil nature of the CCP and get more involved in stopping the human right violation in China.”

Falun Gong practitioner Helena arrived early at the activity. She said, “There are Falun Gong practitioners in every corner of the world. China is the only place where they are persecuted. I am very glad to bring the news of the persecution and the benefit of Falun Gong to the attendees at the Nobel Prize reception. I think everyone has the responsibility to help stop the persecution.”
