Children from the Minghui School of the Greater Philadelphia Area performed a waist-drum dance and demonstrated the five sets of Falun Gong exercises in the auditorium of the Atlantic City Public Library at noon. The audience, including the children, quietly concentrated on the exercise demonstration. Everyone was captivated by the tranquility of the exercises. The audience rewarded the children with warm applause. The host asked the audience how they felt. Many people said, "It was so peaceful!" Warm applause and cheers filled the auditorium when the waist-drum dance was over.

Dr. Michael Yang gave a lecture on Chinese medicine, qigong and health on the second floor of the library. Dr. Yang explained the characteristics of Chinese medicine, the relationship between Chinese medicine and Western medicine, the relationship between Chinese medicine and qigong, and gaining true health of mind and body. Dr. Yang recommended Falun Gong as a complete cultivation system. The audience responded warmly to Dr. Yang's lecture. Many gathered around him to ask questions about Falun Gong after more than an hour's lecture.

The Falun Gong booth hosted by New Jersey practitioners also drew the interest of many people who were interested in self-cultivation.
