On January 27, 2009, Falun Gong practitioners in Helsinki, Finland, came to the railway station. They lit candles and hung banners with messages including “Falun Dafa is Good”, “Stop the Chinese Communist Party Removing Organs from live Falun Gong Practitioners”. They mourned fellow practitioners tortured to death during the CCP’s nine-year persecution of Falun Gong. They called on the world's people to help end the persecution together.
The solemn scene drew attention from kind people in Finland. Occasionally, people of all ages, especially young people, were seen in the queue waiting to sign their names to support Falun Gong.
After hearing Xiao Wang, a Falun Gong practitioner tell her how the CCP persecutes Falun Gong in China, a young artist said that she was shocked at the crimes committed by the CCP. She immediately signed the petition calling for the end of the persecution. Xiao Wang asked her to let her friends and relatives know too. She said that she surely would and would let them know about the Falun Gong websites. She also mentioned that she had many Chinese friends and would talk to them as well.
