Divine Performing Arts (DPA) 2009 World Tour brought the New London Theatre alive with the sights and sounds of ancient China on Tuesday March 3rd, and Londoners appreciatively responded with a standing ovation at the end of the show.

Mr. Jameson, an actor in TV, film and theatre in London, was amongst the enthusiastic audience who thought the DPA performance was "Really fantastic!" "Everyone seems to be enjoying themselves, which is good. I'm an actor so I do appreciate it, yes. ... the dancing was really, really good."

Mr. Jameson said, "I do happen to like what I've seen so far. In the movements, in all the dancing, the choreography. I think it's fantastic. I'd certainly like to learn more about the Chinese culture. So that's why I'm here tonight." He added, "I also like the story behind the guy who was attacked and then suddenly found that there was a better life after he had left this one. It was very well put together and the story was very well told." [This refers to the program, "Heaven Awaits Us Despite Persecution" in which a Falun Gong practitioner is murdered by CCP police and rises up to heaven]

Fashion Designer: 'I feel so much happiness!'

Olga, a fashion designer, was in awe of the exquisitely costumed DPA artists. "It's great. I feel so much happiness, and the movements are so elegant. I like the women's dance and men's dance too, because it's so harmonious," she said.

However, it was the clothing and costumes that "Excited" the fashion designer. "The costumes are great. I liked the color combination and fabrics ... amazing."

Also attending the opening night performance, was the vice-president of an association, Ms. Spensley. She was moved by the performances, saying, "It was absolutely beautiful. I just loved the ladies, the way they hold themselves and their arms so fluid, it's almost like watching water flow, just absolutely gorgeous. I love it."

As a native of Singapore, Ms. Spensley is appreciative of all things Chinese. She added about the performance - "Flowing Sleeves," "I quite like the dance with the turquoise dresses with the big sleeves. I thought the girls were absolutely wonderful in the way that their arms were flowing, and the sleeves are beautiful. And also the skirts. The way they move, I love it very much. Very nice, very nice."

Ms. Spensley also loved DPA music, the unique orchestral blend of Western and Chinese classical instruments. "Always love the music, yes. It's very restful, very watery. It's like flowing water, which is very, very restful. Lovely!" Ms. Spensley concluded.

She went on to add, "I loved the music and the dancers. It was excellent. I'm very happy. It was just excellent!" Of the performances, Ms. Stapor said they reflect not only, "What's happening now, but how people used to live. I could watch and follow the history and the culture. It was great."
