Over the past five years, an information booth set up by Falun Gong (also called Falun Dafa) practitioners could be seen each weekend on the street in Milan, the economic centre of Italy and the world's fashion capital. The booth is on Via Dante Street, a pedestrian street named after Dante Alighieri, the author of the famous epic Divine Comedy. Practitioners in Milan demonstrated the five sets of Falun Gong exercises, spread the magnificence of Falun Dafa and call for an end to the persecution of Falun Gong by the Chinese Communist Party, rain or shine. It has become an important scene in the city on weekends.
