On May 29 2009, The Lions Club, one of the famous charity organisations in Sweden, organised a big spring market in Finspang. Around 800 enterprises participated in the exhibition. Swedish Falun Gong practitioners were invited to participate and introduce Falun Gong (also known as Falun Dafa). The person who was in charge of the activity was happy that Falun Gong practitioners participated.

The Falun Gong booth was set up at the entrance of the exhibition with Falun Dafa books, accompanied by exercise instruction videos and DVDs. Practitioners demonstrated the exercises, and handed out leaflets about Falun Gong and the persecution, as well as collecting petition signatures. Many people signed their names to support ending the persecution, and stop the Chinese Communist Party's atrocities of harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners. Some people took the leaflets and asked the practitioners how to learn the exercises.
During the activity, the local officials talked with Falun Gong practitioners and expressed their hope that the practitioners would maintain regular contact with them. Practitioners handed out informational materials to every exhibition booth of every enterprise. Many people manning the booths accepted the leaflets and said that they would take a detailed look.
