Finland: Practitioners in Helsinki Introduce Falun Dafa and Expose the Persecution in China

On June 13th, 2009, an annual Samba parade was held in Helsinki, the capital of Finland. People were wearing colourful costumes and dancing while singing to the loud music. However, a peaceful music that seemed coming from heaven quieted the crowd. That was the exercise music played by Falun Gong practitioners, who were holding their activity as usual this day, introducing Falun Gong (also known as Falun Dafa) and the persecution happening in China.

A young man came to the table with a smile, saying, "You are doing very well." He signed the petition condemning the CCP's persecution then said to the practitioners, "You are doing so well, so wonderful." He then discussed with his companions and watched the practitioners exercising quietly.

A young girl was standing before the petition for quite a while. Anna, a practitioner asked her if she had any questions. The girl told her that the reason that she was hesitating was that her boyfriend is Chinese so she didn't know if she should sign the petition. Anna replied, you should make your own decision. The girl eventually signed. She said she felt the persecution must be stopped right away. She also asked for some Chinese materials in order to pass the truth to her boyfriend.

Jyrki, a senior engineer, was reading the banner saying, "Crimes against humanity does not mean business as usual" for a long time. He talked with the practitioners about the meaning of the words. The practitioners told him that the CCP detained a lot of Falun Gong practitioners in forced labor camps, and forced them to work like slaves for more than ten hours every day making goods for export. That's why the goods made in China are so cheap, because a lot of the labor is totally free. Some Falun Gong practitioners' organs are even harvested secretly and sold for profit as merchant goods by the CCP. After hearing that, Jyrki's expression was very sad. He told the Falun Gong practitioner, "You are doing the right thing!"

Quite often some Chinese passed by the site. A young woman wanted to learn the exercises and quit the CCP's associated organisations in the name of Lanlan. There was also a Chinese saying he often visited the Epoch Times and Minghui websites and had learned a lot about the persecution. He knows clearly that the CCP is an evil spirit and is the root cause of all the problems, such as moral deterioration, corruption, living difficulties and the destruction of the traditional culture in Mainland China. He sincerely hopes that the CCP will be rooted out as early as possible and China will regain the glory it had in the past. He asked again and again for help in quitting the CCP's associated organisations. He also said that he would tell the truth to his family members in China and help them quit the CCP to ensure a safe future as well. In the end he said, I really admire Falun Gong practitioners. You are great! You voluntarily save the Chinese people by telling them the truth using your heart without a cent of payment.

A group of young people was attracted to the site. They were listening to Anja telling of the persecution of Falun Gong in China. All of a sudden, a young fellow asked, "Can I give them a hug?" He referred to the practitioners doing the exercises. He said, "I don't know why. But I have a feeling from the depth of my heart wanting to give a hug to those people." He eventually didn't disturb the practitioners doing the exercises. But when he hugged his companion saying he wanted to do so, his tears were flowing. He never expected to be so moved by Falun Gong.

Lots of people felt the peace and the supernormal nature of Falun Gong with their hearts, just like this young fellow. An older lady asked why such a peaceful exercise practice was persecuted in China? The practitioners explained to her that because Falun Gong practitioners believe in Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance and was viewed favourably before the persecution in China with more the a hundred million people practising. The CCP, which rules the country with lies and violence, was afraid that people would have independent thinking and be free from control after believing in Falun Gong. The lady said that she felt the strong energy of the exercises. The practitioner told her that people not only benefit physically but improve their characters practising Falun Gong and start thinking with their own minds. The lady said before she left that she was very glad to have the conversation and she wanted to practice and become strong inside as well.
