Falun Dafa practitioner Yang Fengbin, male, lived in Shijian Village, Haiyang, Yantai City, Shandong Province and was about 45 years old. He was very healthy after he began practicing Falun Dafa in 1997 and his family lived in harmony. Seeing that many people were deluded by the Jiang regime's lies, Yang Fengbin often clarified the truth to people and validated the goodness of Falun Dafa. Later, a thug named Yang Jinlong, a fellow villager, reported Yang Fengbin to the police. On April 27, 2002, six vicious police officers, among them Yu Zhenggao, Wang Yingjie and others from the "610 Office" [an agency specifically created to persecute Falun Gong, with absolute power over each level of administration in the Party and all other political and judiciary systems] and kidnapped Yang Fengbin, who was working at a stone quarry at that time. Because Yang Fengbin’s firmly refused to cooperate with the evil people, he was brutally tortured in a detention centre, and later was sent to Haiyang Hospital for emergency treatment. During this time, the vicious police also tried to extort money from Yang's wife who sternly refused and said, "He was working, and you beat him until he's half-dead. You will be held responsible for this!" After being brutally tortured for 26 days, Yang Fengbin died on May 23 in a miserable condition, with wounds all over his body (according to insiders, his internal organs were also severely damaged).

Afterwards, people asked the thug Yang Jinlong, who "sold out" Yang Fengbin, why did he do this and his wife said, "He just wanted the money." What a pitiful and ignorant being! He has jeopardised his own future, just for a little money!
