On July 19 and 21, Falun Gong practitioners from Italy held activities in front of the Chinese Embassy and the Italian Parliament, calling for an end to the 10-year-long persecution of Falun Gong. They also called upon the Italian government to recognise the evil nature of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and help end the persecution.

Practitioners talked to passersby about Falun Gong and exposed the brutality of the persecution. Their banners read, "Falun Dafa Teaches Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance", " Bring Jiang Zemin to Justice" and "Quit the CCP for a Bright Future".
The practitioners demonstrated the Falun Gong exercises and handed out informational materials. Many people learned the truth and expressed their respect to practitioners for their peaceful practice and efforts to end the persecution in China.
