On September 26th, over one hundred rights group representatives and people from all walks of life rallied at Sydney Chinatown to support the 60 million Chinese people who have quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliated organisations. The attendees also condemned the atrocities committed by the Communist regime in the past 60 years.
At the rally site, a street play was performed to expose the CCP's atrocities of harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners. The play drew the attention of many pedestrians, who were shocked by the atrocities.
The Sydney Quitting the CCP Service Center's photo display also attracted many people, and several dozen Chinese people quit the CCP at the rally site. Many locals signed a petition to express their support.

At the rally, Mr. Nhan Tran, Council Member of Fairfield and Vice Chairman of the Vietnamese Community in New South Wales, said that the rally reminded people about what the Communist regime has brought to China: disasters, murder, torture and persecution. He urged people to say no to communism.
Ms. Dadon from the local Tibetan group pointed out how this trend of quitting the CCP is a sign of people seeing the CCP for what it is. She was joined by other members of the local Tibetan community at the event.
A Singapore-Chinese man in his 80's told a practitioner that he was deceived by the CCP and joined the Youth League when he was young. In 1970's, he moved to Hong Kong and gradually learned about the nature of the CCP from independent media.
Invited speakers also include former Chinese diplomat Yonglin Chen, Free Tibet spokesperson Tenpa Dugdak, Dr. Zhenlei Lu from Epoch Times, poet and linguist Michael Darby, democracy activist Dr. Xiaogang Zhang, One Nation Party representative Bob Vinicombe, and Ms. Tang from the Quitting the CCP Service Center.
