Police Officers from Fuyang City, Anhui Province Break into Practitioner's Home, Use Pepper Spray on Kids

Guang Hui, an official from Chenzhuang Village, led several plainclothes police officers from Zhengwu Township Police Station, including Ding Zhiqiang, to Ms. Hou Yanqun's home at around 10:00 p.m. on August 26th, 2009. Ms. Hou however, rejected their requests to come in by telling them, "We would like to rest now. What brings you here? Only my two kids and me are at home. It's really not convenient for so many of you to come into my house late in the evening. Come back in the daytime." However, the policemen did not listen to her and kept kicking her door.

Hou Yanqun's 16-year-old daughter heard the sound of the police kicking the door, and said to the them, "I will open the door for you, but could you guys not come in?" As soon as she opened the door, the police immediately sprayed something in her face. The girl screamed with pain, "My eyes hurt. What did you spray on my face?" At this moment, Hou Yangqun's 8-year-old son woke up and came out. Before he could arrive at his mother's side, the officers sprayed the same thing in his face. He was in so much pain, he covered his face with both hands, jumped up and down, and screamed, "Mum, Mum, my eyes hurt!"

With both kids suffering from pain, a police officer said, "This is pepper spray!"

Hou Yanqun's daughter said to them,"You guys also have kids in your homes, right? Why don't you try spraying it on them?" They had no reply.

While Hou Yanqun was busy washing her kids' faces, the police ransacked her home. They messed up everything and even confiscated the kids' homework. They also broke a door.

Ms. Hou said to the policemen, "'Falun Gong teaches people to behave well and do good things. There is nothing wrong with Falun Gong. Falun Gong is good!"

In the past, Ms. Hou Yanqun had many diseases and had no money to see a doctor. After she started practising Falun Gong, her health condition improved, and she also stopped arguing with and blaming other people.
