Ms. Yao Aihua, Ms. Jiang Yumin and Ms. Zheng Qiying Sent to Brainwashing Facility, Then to Forced Labour Camp

Ms. Yao Aihua and Ms. Jiang Yumin from Jining City were given two years of imprisonment on August 2nd, 2010, and then were transferred to and persecuted in the Shandong Province Brainwashing Centre. Ms. Zheng Qiying was arrested on July 27th; her current whereabouts are unknown.

Ms. Yao Aihua is in her 50s. She was arrested on July 20th, 2010 by officials from the Domestic Security Division of Zhongqu District Police Department in Jining City and the Guanyinge Police Station. At that time, she was taking care of her five-month old granddaughter at her daughter's home. Over ten policemen in plain clothes broke in and forcibly arrested Ms. Yao in front of her daughter and granddaughter. Her daughter and grandchild were terrified and cried. The policemen then threatened and interrogated Ms. Yao's daughter, causing her tremendous mental trauma.

Later on, the policemen ransacked Ms. Yao's home, as well as her brother's and her father's homes, taking away their bank deposit books, computers and cash. Ms. Yao had been looking after her father who was in his 70s. After she was arrested, her sister and brother had to take care of their father, which brought them great difficulty.

Ms. Jiang Yumin is in her 60s. She operated a privately-owned business selling goods. When Ms. Jiang visited her neighbour on July 6th, policemen suddenly broke in and arrested her. Later on, the policemen ransacked Ms. Jiang's home, taking away her personal belongings and Falun Gong books.

Ms. Zheng Qiying is in her 40s. She was arrested while distributing leaflets exposing the persecution and telling people the facts about Falun Gong on July 27th, 2010. Afterwards, she was sent to Jining City No. 1 Hospital for a physical examination; since then her whereabouts are unknown. Before the persecution, Ms. Zheng worked at the Yinghua Textile Group in Jining City. After Jiang Zemin and his followers started to persecute Falun Gong in 1999, she was fired because of her belief in Falun Gong.

According to the plan of the 610 Office (an organisation of special agents just for persecuting Falun Gong) which was exposed in May, the communist regime officials were to send practitioners to brainwashing centres to forcibly "transform" [forcibly renounce Falun Gong] them after arresting them. The policemen from Jining City first sent the above practitioners to Shandong Province Brainwashing Centre and detained them there for three months; then the police transferred the practitioners to Jinan Women's Forced Labour Camp.
