Practitioners Ms. Chen Gongqiu and Ms. Geng Yuzhi Forced into Brainwashing Centre in Heilongjiang Province

Falun Gong practitioners Ms. Chen Gongqiu, Ms. Geng Yuzhi and other practitioners in Hailin City, Heilongjiang province were arrested and taken to the Tilinghe brainwashing centre of Mudanjiang City for persecution by Tang Fengguo, Zeng Feng and other leaders of the Politics and Law Committee of Hailing City.

It was at 12:00 noon on May 26th that Tang Fengguo and others went to Ms. Chen Gongqiu’s home and arrested her under the pretence of verifying some facts.

That afternoon, Ms. Chen’s family was told on the phone that Ms. Chen was at the Police College of Mudanjiang City, and to provide some clothing for her. Afterwards her family came to the college and found that it was a brainwashing facility to persecute Falun Gong practitioners. It was held in a room rented from the college by the "610 Office" (an organisation of special agents just for persecuting Falun Gong) of Mudanjiang City. The family asked them to release Ms. Chen but their efforts were unsuccessful.
Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Geng Yuzhi of Shuangfeng village, Hailin City, was also arrested and taken to the brainwashing session by Tang Fengguo, Zeng Feng, and others, on May 27th.

All the arrested Falun Gong practitioners in the brainwashing centre were forced into detention, without any legal proceedings. Those police dressed in civilian clothes that were involved in the arrest did not show their identity when arresting practitioners, and used cruel means to trick them.
