On October 1 and 2, 2011, an annual EcoAltea health expo was held in Altea. During the expo, the Falun Gong booth was warmly welcomed by local residents.

Last year, local Falun Gong practitioners participated in the annual EcoAltea health expo and were invited to participate again this year.
According to the arrangement of the expo, practitioners offered an introductory Falun Gong exercise class at 7 p.m on October 1. Several dozen people came to learn the practice. Even after it grew dark in the evening, the people were full of enthusiasm and stayed to learn all five sets of Falun Gong exercises.
During the expo, the Falun Gong booth had many visitors. Having learned that the CCP’s brutal persecution continues to this day, people were indignant and many signed the petition to condemn the CCP’s atrocities.
