Around October 14th, Ms. Bo Guiqin and Ms. Chen Muxiu from the Lanshan District in Linyi City, Shandong Province, rode on an electric-powered tricycle driven by Ms. Mu Hongling to distribute Falun Gong materials in the Luozhuang District of Linyi. They were reported to the police and arrested by officers from the Zhuchen Police Station in the Luozhuang District.
Officers from the Yinqueshan Police Station in the Lanshan District ransacked Ms. Bo's home while the Luozhuang police ransacked Ms. Chen's home. Ms. Bo and Ms. Chen were detained in the Linyi Detention Centre first and then transferred to a brainwashing centre.
It was recently learned that the three practitioners were each sentenced to one year of forced labour. On the way to Jinan City, Shandong Province, Ms. Bo and Ms. Chen accidentally fell off the vehicle and injured their legs. They have been sent to a hospital for treatment. Their current situation is unknown.
Ms. Mu is still being detained in the Luozhuang Detention Centre. As a result of persecution, Ms. Mu has difficulty walking. Her bottom festers. However, the guards refused to release her for treatment.
