Russia: The Art of Truthfulness, Compassion, Tolerance Exhibition Held in Kotlas

The Art of Truthfulness, Compassion, Tolerance International Exhibition was held in Kotlas, Arkhangelsk Oblast in Russia on December 6-18, 2011.

At the opening ceremony, the president of the Community Conscience Association said in her speech that this art exhibition has profound meaning. She said, “It is amazing. The paintings reach out to us and we are deeply touched by the paintings. We understand the expressions of the true stories, ideals and symbols within the paintings.”

The artworks were displayed in a bright and spacious hall. Almost every visitor wrote comments in the guestbook expressing support and appreciation for the exhibition. Many people made comments that the exhibition was significant in presenting local people with the situation in China, as well as containing a universal message of hope and faith.

The art exhibition moved many visitors to tears and many promised to return with their relatives and friends as they were leaving.

The artworks of the Art of Truth, Compassion, Tolerance Exhibition were produced by a diverse group of successful artists from around the world who practice Falun Dafa. The artists applied classical painting techniques to portray goodness, purity, kindness and beauty. The artworks convey the inner peace and beauty of Falun Dafa and the ongoing persecution of Falun Dafa practitioners in mainland of China. The exhibition conveys the principle that goodness is rewarded and wickedness incurs karmic retribution. It also depicts the uncompromising courage of Falun Dafa practitioners as they resist the brutal and unjust persecution.
