On August 31, 2002, the "Guangming Art Ensemble" composed of Falun Gong practitioners from Toronto was invited by the Ontario M.P.P. Mr. George Smitherman to join the community Labour Day celebration in his electorate. The practitioners' distinctive performance displayed Chinese culture's splendour and was warmly received and highly praised by the audience. At the same time, practitioners introduced Dafa and displayed the beauty of Dafa, creating opportunities for local citizens to learn more about Dafa.
