The Importance of Our Conduct Outside The Chinese Embassy

At the Chinese Embassy there was a discussion with raised voices between the embassy staff and myself when the media was present. I continued to send righteous thoughts. [To think positive upright thoughts to eliminate bad or evil elements] First they offered me materials [which slandered Falun Gong], which I rejected, and then they invited me in. When I entered the door I said I was sorry for raising my voice earlier and would like to discuss in a calm manner Falun Gong. They then invited me into a sitting room. We talked about Dafa in depth for one and a half hours. They brought up every aspect of the persecution, and they then listened as I clarified the truth. Similar to other Chinese people I have talked to they tend to blame Falun Gong for all the other genuinely bad qigong practices in China and disasters they have brought people.

They mentioned some things we can improve on. They said that it’s their choice whether or not to accept a leaflet and that by offering them a leaflet every time we see them, we make them feel harassed (greeting them is sufficient). (In fact we are outside their house (the Embassy), we can clarify the truth with our behaviour and eliminate the negative elements behind these people with righteous thoughts. They will come to understand us, and we can take advantages of opportunities as they arise.)

They were genuinely angered by the fact that, even though they have expressed the view that they do not want to talk, practitioners frequently ring their intercom bell (which can be heard all over their residence) hoping to gain the opportunity to clarify the truth about Dafa to them. I have been learning recently to clearly separate the bad elements that lead people to do bad things against Falun Dafa from the people at the surface. These people came also to be saved, they are Chinese and they have good nature we need to be careful with our actions because we don’t want to push them to the other side of Dafa. We should be more responsible, if we see another person doing something that might cause the embassy offence we should discuss it with the practitioner so we can both come to the correct understanding, thus strengthening our righteous thoughts and becoming a stronger body of practitioners.

They said that we should not interfere with the paths of their cars (although we do so unintentionally on what is a very small pavement) and they hope that our practitioners can do better in their studies.

This was a brief part of the conversation. The main part of the conversation came down to simple things. Should a human being be allowed to practise his spiritual belief in peace? Is it possible that one or two people in power used their power to frame Falun Gong, turning public interest against the practitioners to satisfy there own self interests?

And as for all the accusations they made against Falun Gong (Murder, suicide other such terrible crimes) I explained they where hoaxed. I explained that a Falun Gong practitioner is one who follows the teachings given by Teacher Li (Truth Compassion Tolerance). If an individual does something bad and then says it is because he practises Falun Gong that is a contradiction and is false.

As we were talking I mentioned my interest in Chinese culture and as I left they gave me a book all about Chinese culture and the 5000-year-old history. I will read it and then return it.

We should try harder to embody Dafa and clarify the truth with our righteous actions. All sentient beings (including the embassy staff) are watching very closely.
