The impact of the Commentaries has been particularly visible. Take for instance the call put forth more recently by Gao Zhisheng, a Christian and one of China's most prominent attorneys. "As for how to bring about non violent change, I would say that the Falun Gong have succeeded at finding a means to change that will not lead to the shedding of one drop of blood. That approach is, to persuade people to quit the wicked Party -- a party that has done every form of evil imaginable in this world. My suggestion is to quit the Party and be closer to God!"

1. China's Olympic Committee President was found liable for torture

In 2004, a U.S. federal court found that Liu Qi, the man heading Beijing's Olympic Organizing Committee, was responsible for the torture of Falun Gong adherents during his tenure as Beijing's mayor from 1999 to 2002.

We hope that Eutelsat will not abandon its principles regarding ethics and conscience for short-term interests. If Eutelsat officials are ignorant of the CCP's evildoings, they should read the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party; if they are unaware of the frightening consequences of colluding with the evildoing CCP, then they need to take a look at the policies the big powers had adopted toward World War II's Nazi Germany.

"I told this to all of my friends and family. Some said, 'Your mother is cured. You know the reason in your heart. But you don't have to risk telling everyone about it.' I said, 'I could never be that insensible. Falun Dafa saved her life. I would not be human if I dared not even speak the truth. I will also follow the principle of "Zhen-Shan-Ren" as required by Falun Dafa.'"

In 1997, my aunt came to my house and saw that my mother looked very worried and showed no desire to continue living. She told my mother how good Falun Gong was, which I did not believe. My aunt said, "Don't be so sceptical. Why don't you take a closer look and ask around yourself."

These stories prove that cultivation in the Buddha school offers salvation to all beings. In fact, throughout the history of China and other countries, Bodhisattva Guan Yin's saving people from suffering in person is not unique. In western religions, there are also recorded instances of disciples receiving responses from their prayers to God, Jesus or St. Mary and thus avoiding dangers.

The CCP's view of human life is "politics first." Because of the influence from atheistic ideas, the CCP does not treasure life. "Kill 200,000, trade for 20 years of stability" is a CCP motto. It does not take the common man's life seriously. After the earthquake, the CCP made up stories to conceal evidence of their knowledge about the imminent Earthquake. A government that truly cares about human life takes disaster prevention as its top priority.

The doctor scrutinised the CAT scan and let out an, "Ah." He took three more scans, but he was still bewildered, thinking that there must be something wrong with the machine. He said, "Look, the smashed skull looks OK now." Since the results of the three examinations did not agree, they conducted another scan. The result was even more puzzling: it showed no damage to the skull. All that was needed were two stitches on the forehead.

Every day, over and over again, Father repeatedly recited, "Falun Dafa is good" and "Zhen-Shan-Ren [Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance] is good." A month later, father's swollen leg miraculously returned to normal. He had relied on medications to control his blood pressure, but now his blood pressure stayed normal without his taking any medicine.

The third time, they took me to a family's home where Master Li's lecture was being played. When we arrived, there were many people there, sitting on the beds and floor. I don't know why, but I suddenly began crying so hard, and I felt like a child who had been separated from his parents, and after suffering so much, finally found my parents again. I felt very comfortable after crying.

On the second morning, her mouth had returned to normal and she no longer drooled. She could speak clearly and could also walk again. A few days later the old woman came out of the hospital, and to this day she is still very healthy. This reduced the worries of her sons and daughters and also reduced their financial burden.

A subsequent examination indicated that everything had returned to normal. Her husband witnessed the miracle of Dafa. From then on, he tried his best to help with the family business, sparing more time for her to cultivate. When she met me, she said excitedly, "Teacher did not give up on me. I must listen to Teacher and do the three things well."

Since I did not go to school and could not read, a practitioner gave me Teacher's lecture audiotapes. After a year and a half of Fa-study and exercise, I no long needed the injections or medication, and I was able to see and speak normally. I could do household chores as usual. It was Teacher who saved me and gave me a second life. I sincerely agree that "Falun Dafa is good! Falun Dafa is the righteous Fa!"

"My wife and I went home yesterday and found two VCDs of the Chinese Spectacular at the foot of the door," he replied. "We watched it in the evening. It is really good! It teaches people to be good. They dance so beautifully and carry themselves so well! People who practice Falun Gong never take extra change when they go shopping. Where can you find such people nowadays?"

After one week's holiday, I went back to the factory to work. I went to the big hospital that had diagnosed my myocarditis and had another comprehensive examination, spending over 500 yuan. Going over the results, the doctor said, "You are healthy and quite normal." I called home and told my family that after I watched the Chinese Spectacular DVD, I recovered from myocarditis.

Practitioners have saved every penny they can to buy printer toner, at the risk of being arrested by plain-clothes police. When some elderly practitioners were sentenced to prison terms for distributing truth-clarifying materials, they were still worrying about people who have not yet heard about the truth of Falun Gong yet. Young practitioners save their allowances and lunch money and give it to their mothers so they can make a few extra copies of the truth-clarifying materials.

Having heard the news, a local practitioner went to Hong's house to tell him about Dafa and told him to recite often "Falun Dafa is good," and "'Truthfulness, Compassion, Compassion' is good." He also urged him to quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations. Hong agreed, and a few days later, his condition began to improve. Without any operation or medication, he became healthy again.

Human beings suffer from the catastrophe. Human beings need to think, why it is we who suffer? Could it be that we did something wrong? Of course! As the old saying goes, "Good will be rewarded with good, and evil will meet with retribution." This is a universal law of nature.

Wanting to know the effect of practicing Falun Gong, I went to Chongqing to have a checkup. The result was that all the cancer cells disappeared! It is truly remarkable that practicing Falun Gong had such a miraculous effect in the short period of two months! I used to suffer back pain. Now I no longer have it. My skin became rosy and fair. Everyone said that I have changed. I indeed feel "light without any illnesses". Without spending one penny, my lung cancer was cured. I am thankful for Dafa and Teacher for giving me a second life.

When a young lay Buddhist finished watching the Divine Performing Arts performance on the DVD, she was so moved that words could not convey her emotions. When they saw the "Descent of the Celestial Kings", where the Gods and Buddhas descended to create human civilisation, this lay Buddhist and her folks were very impressed, especially by the background screen, as well as the lovely songs and meaningful lyrics.

After I read two chapters of the book to him, Master started to purify his body. He had the symptom of diarrhea and felt lighter. On the third day, the pain around his heart lessened. His attitude also changed and he began to believe what I had suggested. At around 5:00 a.m., he got up and sat on his bed repeatedly reciting, "Falun Dafa is good!"

From that day on, I often chanted "Falun Gong is good" while lying on my death bed. Because the doctors had decided that I would soon die, they didn't pay much attention when they performed routine checks. About 10 days later, a nurse was dressing my wound when she said, "It is strange. Fluid continues to come out of the wound, but it is now healing."

I will tell all my friends and neighbors that Falun Dafa teaches people to be good, and that it can cure illnesses and keeps people physically and mentally well. Do not be fooled by the lies of the Chinese Communist Party. Do not burn the bridge that you can benefit from. Please listen to the true words of Falun Dafa practitioners. These truths are real and can save people.

During the recovery period, villagers visited him one after another. Everyone wanted to help him, but nobody really knew how at first. One of the villagers told him about her family's experience of believing in Falun Dafa and experiencing blessings. The lady had a relative who practices Falun Dafa. That relative told her that whenever she runs into danger, to say "Falun Dafa is good", "Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance is good". Mr. Xie said to her, "I believe it! I will say those words, too!"

n the events broadcast on CCTV (the official TV station run by the CCP), the so-called "donation" event near the Service Centre for Quitting the CCP in Flushing, New York had no banners for earthquake donations nor donation boxes. There was no such event, in fact. Those people who allegedly were making donations on site looked extremely excited and happy, unusual in such a setting.

Regarding the incidents in Flushing: If Peng Keyu had not been in such a rush to brag about his deeds, and if he had the slightest knowledge and respect for the "Vienna Convention on Consular Relations," perhaps we would not have heard of his testimony. Peng Keyu, using Cultural-Revolution style tactics, played the same role the regime has played for nine years in their persecution of Falun Gong

Every day, I listened to my wife reading Zhuan Falun to me. Gradually, the stomach pain disappeared, and so did the lump. Ever since then, my abdomen has never hurt again. Before this, I dared not eat anything cold, yet now I can eat several apples in one sitting. The painful illness that I suffered from in the past few years was healed, but I did not spend a penny. My complexion also changed from dark and bluish to bright and shiny. I am thrilled from the inside out. There is not a word in the world that I can use to express my gratitude towards Master and Dafa.

"...I know this performance will save people and I will do my best to help. You know how much effort Teacher has put into this performance? I see all the clothes and headdresses, it's all made by Teacher thread by thread ... No other performance is like this. He exhausted himself to create this treasure for sentient beings. If we don't do our work, it will be a sin."

My brother continued to say, "Falun Dafa is good" over and over in the days that followed. In the past several years he has maintained a clean driving record and his family life has never been better. His wife now says, "Falun Dafa is good" on a daily basis and she also "clarifies the truth" about Dafa to others. Our relatives and friends have all witnessed the miraculous power of Falun Dafa.

This miraculous experience taught me many things. I believe every word Master said. If I had not received Dafa, none of these good things would have happened. During the decades I had suffered from asthma, whenever an attack occurred the symptoms never disappeared on their own, only with medicine or an injection.

Most outrageously, the CCP in their fabricated reports changed a banner that Falun Gong practitioners displayed in their activities from "Heaven will eliminate the CCP" to "Heaven will eliminate China" - how wicked that was! As we know, the CCP is never the same as China. China is a 5000-year-old civilization, while the CCP was nothing but a malevolent entity that has murdered millions of Chinese people.

A Falun Gong practitioner worked in the same company as me. He told me that I should follow "Truthfulness, Compassion, and Tolerance" to become a good person. He said if I devotedly recited "Falun Dafa is good", and '"Truthfulness, Compassion, and Tolerance" is good', all my illnesses would disappear

Even with the three pins in my bones, I did the practice everyday. I meditated twice a day and increased the time by one to two-minute increments. I practised the standing exercise three times a day, for about 30 minutes in the beginning. I maintained this regiment for three months. My condition changed rapidly, so I thought it was time to get the pins out.

Songsong was born in Chengfeng Village, Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province. After 35 days he was found to be haemorrhaging, which is very unusual. After hearing about Songsong's condition, his aunt, who practises Falun Dafa, went to visit him and brought tape recordings of Teacher Li's lectures for him to listen to. When the lecture tapes were played on the third day, a miracle occurred!

Why is this evil behaviour so rampant? Because the CCP and its gangsters control the nation and the military. They motivate everyone to do their dirty work. They are able to have anyone who resists disappear. They either threaten them that they will disappear or make them disappear. They also control the media so that there is only one voice that Chinese citizens can hear--the voice of the CCP. People are deceived, fooled, and poisoned and became numb.

After watching Mr Li Hongzhi's video lecture Fa-Teaching Given to the Australian Practitioners, I realized that I still have many attachments--the need to complain, my fear of criticism, and selfishness. I saw I was far from Dafa's requirements. From now on, I will study the Fa [principles of Falun Dafa] more, seek within, and raise my xinxing (character). I will diligently work hard to do the three things well with my fellow disciples. I would like to tell you about some of my amazing experiences.

Xiao Guang said, "Today, only Falun Gong people are truly good people." His fellow taxi drivers also agree. They all said that, now, only Falun Gong practitioners do not bargain for a lower price when they take a taxi, and they also clarify the truth to the drivers. All they talk about are good principles. Only the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) teaches people to be bad.

Samuel Johnson said, "Patriotism is the last refuge of the scoundrel." After the bankruptcy of the international communist bloc, the CCP buried itself even more deeply under the banner of patriotism. When any Western country criticizes the CCP, it is called "anti-China." When the Chinese public resists the CCP, it calls them "anti-government." When overseas Chinese people criticize the CCP, it calls them unpatriotic.

Those represent the phenomenon of just loving the blooming seasons. That attitude, which is so eager to expect people to achieve quick success, is driving human beings to "social Darwinism." The cons will not show at present as human resources are plentiful, however, after ten or twenty years, when we are entering into a mature society, how will it be?

Although it was close to Chinese New Year, we kept going the the lectures every day. The assistant extended the lecture series two extra days just for us. We learned all five exercises. I said to my son, "We are practitioners now. Let's not take that useless medicine anymore. Let's get rid of it." My son happily threw them all in the trash. He was so relieved.

Huang Jiefu, Vice-Minister of Health, has frequently appeared on Chinese television recently to promote the ethics of new regulations to control organ transplantation in China. In fact, each organ Huang Jiefu transplanted in his role as an organ transplant surgeon came from a CCP-controlled organ depository. The source of the organs is a deeply held secret. Huang Jiefu has been lying for years to cover up organ harvesting atrocities. Death row prisoners and Falun Gong practitioners held in concentration camps are routinely secreted away for organ harvesting.

Despite the CCP's effort to alienate and destroy traditional culture, it is still deeply rooted in Chinese people's minds. It clings tenaciously even though much has been eliminated by the Communist regime. People still choose auspicious dates based on age-old practices for marriages and burials. People still have the fengshui checked when building houses. In the 1970s and 1980s, the popularity of Qigong played a significant role in reviving Chinese traditional culture.

Before I started to cultivate I suffered from many different diseases, such as serious rheumatoid arthritis which made my legs rigid and very painful. I was also suffering from a pain and pressure in my chest and thyroid gland hyperplasia, all of which miraculously disappeared once I started the practice. Seeing all the great changes in both my mind and body I was determined to carry on practising.

During the past month and a half, Ola has made great changes in his ways of thinking and behaviour. His parents and friends have all noticed. People around him have noticed that he is becoming compassionate and peaceful. His mother also noticed because Ola even began to help her with the housework. Now Ola treats everything that happens in his life as a test on his cultivation path. When a conflict occurs, Ola does not get annoyed anymore, but instead treats it as a good opportunity for cultivation.

I am a woman farmer living in the countryside and I am currently 50 years old. In early 2005, I was diagnosed with hepatitis B. Later, I was diagnosed with late-stage gastric cancer. The doctor recommended immediate surgery, which would cost about 20,000 yuan. I was told that, without the medical treatment, I could only live up to six more months. With the medical treatment, I could live three to five more years. However, even with the treatment, the cancer could still migrate to other places.

This film is categorised as "secret" and is produced by the CCP 29th Olympics Security Information Centre, the propaganda department of the State Security Ministry, and the Tianjin City State Security Bureau. Currently, the Party is organising people from each region to see the film, to poison their minds and fabricate excuses to continue to tread on human rights. The evil party is fanning nationalism, trying to make more excuses to persecute Falun Gong.

After listening to her story, I felt truly happy for her and her friends. All along, when people refused to quit the CCP or said that they would think about it when I urged them to quit, my husband and daughter were always by my side to help persuade them. They would say, "Why don't you agree to quit? This can only do you good, and won't do you any harm

They discovered a completely different path for a person's life, which Dafa had displayed for them. They decided to practise Falun Gong. They quickly learned the five exercises and began to practise every day. Practitioners also told them that, as practitioners, they needed to critically examine themselves and needed to follow the principles of "Truthfulness, Compassion, and Tolerance". Whether in jail or in society in the future, they needed to be good. All three of them acknowledged this, and the paths of their lives changed completely.

Quite a number of people in the western world believed the CCP's promises, and thought the Olympic Games had put a pair of "golden handcuffs" on the regime. They hoped that the international community would supervise and push the regime to improve its human rights record in the name of the Olympic Games. In the seven years since 2001, the facts show that the regime has failed to improve human rights as promised, and actually done the opposite, cracking down on all voices the CCP deems as "threats," and doing do in the name of "preparing" for the Olympics.

An important sign of a modern civilised society is "the rule of law." That means that the law is greater than power. Recently because of the Olympic torch relay, some Chinese people in Western society have held demonstrations and rallies in Western countries. However, the Western governments didn't repress this kind of "instability" because the law of the Western countries protects freedom of speech and freedom of assembly. "The rule of law" can be substantially implemented.

The purpose of the April 25 peaceful appeal was to make the most of Chinese citizens' fundamental rights and to give the CCP an opportunity to mend its ways and listen to the will of the people. However, Jiang Zemin and the CCP regime missed this opportunity, and instead used extreme actions to crush belief in "Truth, Compassion, Tolerance." This has now continued for nine years.

The peaceful resolution of the 10,000-strong Zhongnanhai appeal on April 25th, 1999 is mainly attributable to the sincerity, kindness and tolerance that practitioners have derived from their Falun Dafa cultivation. For the good of China and its people, with the best intentions to resolve problems peacefully, trusting the government and not seeing any other alternatives, we chose to appeal as a group to the government. Throughout the entire process, we maintained good order and did not incite a riot or uproar, we did not chant any slogans nor raise our voices.

A neighbour of ours who is a physician at a hospital in Beijing told us that the military police advised her hospital on April 25 to prepare for an unrevealed emergency. They were told to vacate all hospital wards and prepare a large medical supply for external injuries suffered during an emergency mission. Until the late afternoon of April 25, the Commando car teams of the military police kept Fuyou Street under continued surveillance. Apparently Jiang's rogue regime had planned to suppress our peaceful appeal with guns and violence.

On the surface, the April 25 appeal seemed to be triggered by the Tianjin arrests and an anti-Falun Gong article by He Zuoxiu. The underlying reason stemmed from the central authorities' anxiety about the unprecedented popularity of Falun Gong. Seven years after Mr. Li Hongzhi's first public lecture in 1992, there were about 70 to 100 million Falun Gong practitioners in Mainland China. A full understanding of the incident is very complex, as it had both long term and short term causes, and was related to political struggles inside the Communist Party.

Nine years ago, on April 25, 1999, in order to appeal for justice for Falun Gong and its practitioners and to ask for an open cultivation environment, around 10,000 Falun Gong practitioners went to peacefully report and clarify the facts to the government in good faith, and requested the government to stop the unfair treatment of practitioners by those who had ulterior motives. This led to the "April 25" incident. I was a participant and a witness of the "April 25" incident. Although many practitioners have already reported about this incident objectively and truthfully, I still would like to write down my own experience and tell what I saw and heard at that time.

To commemorate the ninth anniversary of the April 25 Appeal, this is one of a series of republished articles from years past. The April 25th Appeal was notable not only for its size, but also because it was remarkably peaceful and orderly. Some 10,000 practitioners gathered in central Beijing that day, peacefully protesting for their civil rights. The CCP propaganda machine, however, in its quest to crush Falun Gong at the bidding of then Party Chairman Jiang Zemin, twisted the facts to serve its own motives.

On April 25, 1999, about ten thousand Falun Gong practitioners went to the Appeals Office of the State Council in Beijing, requesting the authorities to grant them a free and legitimate environment for their practice, which became the well-known "April 25th Mass Appeal". Many people believed that the persecution of Falun Gong would not have happened were it not for the April 25th Appeal. But actually that view does not hold.

I am a 50-year-old farmer in Cang County, Cangzhou City, Hebei Province. I would like to share how I physically benefited from Falun Gong. My wife started practising Falun Gong a few years ago and had her illnesses cured. At that time, I was very healthy and thought that I did not need to practise Falun Gong. After the CCP regime began persecuting Falun Gong in 1999, my wife went to Beijing to appeal for justice, and subsequently was sent to a forced labour camp.

Since Beijing has entered the count-down to the Olympics, criticism, protests, and threats of boycott from the international community against the Chinese Communist regime for its intensified human rights violations in the lead-up to the Olympics have been steadily on the rise. The Communist regime is now accusing others of "politicizing the Olympic Games" and trying to stifle criticism by saying they oppose such actions.

She told me that practising Falun Gong was known to have cured some incurable diseases and quoted a number of patients whose cancers went into remission after practicing Falun Gong. On hearing that, I was greatly encouraged--I wanted to live on. When my sister advised me to take up Falun Gong, I was hesitant at first, but on second thought, I realized I had nothing to lose, since the doctors could not find a cure.

British newspaper The Times and some U.S. Congressmen have equated the Beijing Olympics with the 1936 Berlin Olympics. Not surprisingly, the comparison triggered an immediate protest from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). But what of the comparison? Let's go back and look at what occurred around the Berlin Olympics.

A few years ago he quit his job and went abroad to make a living. In western society, he came in contact with Falun Gong practitioners and became truly aware of the facts about Falun Gong. He learned that all practitioners are good people and that what he had been told in China about the practice were pure fabrications.

The speed with which Falun Gong adherents are being seized by police, abused, and turning up dead is alarming and reprehensible," says Falun Dafa Information Center spokesperson Ms. Gail Rachlin. "These are people who never should have been arrested in the first place. Arbitrary arrests, torture, and extrajudicial executions are no way to 'prepare' for the Olympics."

When other people ill-treat you, will you laugh it off or find a chance to take revenge? Recent research carried out by Harvard University has discovered that revenge not only doesn't bring any benefit to the person himself, but also does no good to the team or group, which also means that it is wise to forgive others.

The CCP loses face throughout the world because of its criminal practices and attempting to have others be part in the persecution of Falun Gong. To get their way, they violate diplomatic conventions, interfering in the internal affairs of democratic countries, using economic relations as a bargaining chip. They wish to deprive people from enjoying true Chinese culture; a culture that they systematically tried to eliminate and destroy with Mao's Great Cultural Revolution.

Perhaps for some, a convincing act of the Party's sinister intent is a mandatory liability pledge, which all of the regime's industry and commerce branches in Beijing were required to sign. The pledge listed Falun Gong as a "major target" for "strict discipline, strict prevention and strict control." It requires "intensified education and reform efforts. Those who cannot be resolved at the present, effective measures must be taken to solidly carry out administrative and control duties." "Reform" means forcing Falun Gong practitioners to renounce their beliefs.

During the process of human cultural development, some undesirable elements found their way into the process. This is only natural. The whole reflects both good and bad, beautiful and ugly. All must be represented to comprise the whole. Similarly there are people who believe in gods, and there are those who don't. To a certain extent, those who disbelieve in gods help to identify whether the others truly believe. The theory of mutual generation and mutual inhibition manifests in every aspect of our lives.

In Chinese traditional culture, harmony manifested not only from people's personal cultivation, but also from the the rule of the country. Harmony is a reflection of achieving a certain realm. It is the natural, interactive state that the people, society, nature, and universe tend toward. When the social atmosphere is pure, when people are steady and honest, when the government (the emperor or king) quietly rules the country and does not interfere with people's lives, when the policies, laws, rewards, and punishments are clearly followed, when the army is willing to defend the nation, the country is well-governed and in great harmony.

Tibetan monks recent protests of the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) tyrannical rule have been bloodily suppressed. This tragedy has shocked the world, recalling the horrors of the Tiananmen Square Massacre of 1989. In the fifty years since the CCP came into power, its policies have directly or indirectly resulted in the untimely deaths of eighty million Chinese people. The CCP is a wolf in sheep's clothing that kills people without even blinking its eyes. Only by breaking away from, giving up, and completely disintegrating this evil Party, can all the ethnic groups in China regain their freedom.

According to Chinese traditional culture, every time a natural disaster occurred, besides praying for gods' blessings, the people would reexamine themselves to see where they had not done well. Even the emperors "proclaimed their own faults." History books recorded that when the Shang Dynasty's founding emperor, Cheng Tang, was in power, there was a long-lasting drought. As the emperor, he took a bath, fasted, and then piously prayed for rain in a mulberry tree forest. At the same he also deeply reexamined himself for his mistakes in governing the country. As a result, it started to pour.

Mankind has come to the present day after going through several thousand years of ups and downs and numerous tribulations. The cultures that mankind has created are complete and rich. I believe that in terms of a culture's essence, origin, manifestation, and impact, mankind's cultures can roughly be divided into two major categories of belief or disbelief in gods. Because Chinese traditional culture is imparted by gods, the realm of "gods" is naturally reflected in the culture, which has endowed Chinese traditional culture with the characteristics of profundity, an all-encompassing nature, etherealness, elegance, nobility, beauty and sacredness.
