Italy: To Commemorate the Beijing April 25th Appeal, Italian Falun Gong Practitioners Hold a Peaceful Protest at the Chinese Consulate

On April 25th eight years ago, over ten thousand Falun Gong practitioners went to the State Appeal Office at Zhongnanhai for a peaceful appeal to request the release of 45 Falun Gong practitioners being unreasonably arrested in Tianjin and safeguard the legitimate Falun Gong exercise environment. During the course of a thirteen hour long appeal, they were peaceful and auspicious, without a slogan or a banner. At that time the Premier and representatives of Falun Gong practitioners carried out a discussion, the problem was basically solved, then Falun Gong practitioners dispersed and returned to their respective homes quietly. This was the famous April 25th Peaceful Appeal. Falun Gong practitioners’ rationality and peacefulness demonstrated the real manifestation of Falun Dafa to the world’s people.

However, three months later, the evil Jiang Zemin with the evil CCP manipulated the whole state machine and launched the brutal persecution of Falun Gong practitioners, up to now; the persecution has lasted for nearly eight years.

On April 25th, 2007, Italian Falun Gong practitioners gathered outside the Chinese Consulate in Milan to protest against the CCP’s persecution of Falun Gong and mark the special day “April 25th”. Starting from 2001, there have always been Falun Gong practitioners here to tell the facts and condemn the persecution. Over the past seven years they have never given up, among them there are veteran practitioners who participated in the April 25th appeal and also new practitioners who obtained the Fa recently. They used their actions to demonstrate the dignity of Falun Gong and expose the evilness and brutality of the persecution.
