On the weekend of the 5th and 6th of March, practitioners held activities in the city of Mora to let people know more about Falun Gong and the persecution against the practice in China. Mora is home to the Vasaloppet, a famous annual ski race that attracts more than 400,000 spectators.

Both skiers and spectators by took information on Falun Gong and the genocide that has been taking place for the last six years, and many people stopped to look at the photo exhibition practitioners had on display. There was also a petition that people could sign to ask the Swedish government to collectively condemn China's human rights record. Many people were shocked to know that in China today there are millions who are being persecuted just because they are trying to live by Falun Gong’s principles of Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance.

A team of skiers from China also came to Mora to participate in the Vasaloppet, as skiing has become more popular than ever in China over the last few years. At first they hurried past the practitioners, but later they were more positive and gladly accepted some information. The youngest practitioner was only four years old. He had previously seen an anti-torture exhibition that showed some of the torture methods used in China to try to force practitioners to give up their beliefs. Since then he has been determined to have more people realise the seriousness of the persecution and the facts about Falun Gong. He enthusiastically handed out leaflets to passers-by.
