Several Falun Gong practitioners from Baoding City, Hebei Province were recently arrested. Police from the Dingxing County Police Station harassed Falun Gong practitioners one by one according to their black list.

1. Liu Lifang, female, 44 years old, works at the China Bank near Chaoyang Road. On the evening of March 11th, 2008, she went home after work. Four or five policemen from the National Security Team searched her home and took her away. The police confiscated her Falun Gong books and other personal property. Presumably she is detained by the National Security Team, although there is no real way of finding out. Her thirteen year-old daughter was left alone at home with no one to take care of her.

2. Kong Hongyun runs a clinic in the dormitory area of the cotton mill. On March 13th, she was arrested. It was said that she was turned in because she distributed leaflets at the clinic explaining the truth about Falun Gong so that the Chinese people could understand the unreasonable persecution and what Falun Gong is really about.

3. Ms. Chang Jinfu lives in Xidayuan, Baoding City. She was arrested in Beijing because she distributed leaflets. She is currently detained at the Xinshi District Police Department in Baoding City. Details are under investigation.

Additionally, a few days ago, police from the Dingxing County Police Department went from place to place harassing Falun Gong practitioners listed on their black list. Around March 12th-13th, two Falun Gong practitioners from Dingxing County were arrested. Details are under investigation.

It is said that Party officials just had a meeting in Shijiazhuang City. They plan to intensify their persecution of Falun Gong during the run-up to the Olympic Games in Beijing.
