Sweden: Health Exhibition in Skovde

Skovde city holds a health exhibition every year. Falun Gong practitioners were invited to attend this year's exhibition from April 4th-5th and became the bright focus of visitors there.

Skovde city is situated between Lake Vanern and Lake Vattern, and is situated 90 miles north east of Goteborg. Attending the health fair were many alternative treatment methods and health consultation, and many of those participating in the exhibition and those attending came from other cities.

People come to the Falun Gong practitioners' exhibition table in an endless stream and many stopped to watch the exercise demonstration, take materials, and talk with practitioners. The health fair originally had arranged for Falun Gong practitioners to do two demonstrations of the exercises every day, but because it was so popular, the organiser of the health fair specially asked practitioners to increase the amount to three times a day. A woman from another city was watching the demonstration on the stage, whilst at the same time learning how to practise, after practising she gave a thumbs up to the practitioners and said that she felt really great. Upon leaving she picked up some introductory Falun Gong materials, and expressed how she would like to find the local practice site where she lives and learn Falun Gong. Also many local people left their contact details, hoping to come to the local site to learn the exercises.
