  • United Kingdom: Falun Gong Practitioners Gather at Korean Embassy to Call for Justice

    UK-based practitioners protested against the deportation of three Falun Gong asylum seekers from Korea to China in front of the Korean Embassy in London from August 5 to 7, 2009. Falun Gong practitioners from different countries have appealed to the Korean government not to give in to the Chinese Communist regime.
  • Finland: Practitioners Spread the Facts and Win Public Support in Resisting the Persecution

    In August 2009, Falun Gong practitioners in Finland held events in Helsinki and Pello to introduce Falun Gong and expose the persecution inflicted on the practice by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). At one side of the square in front of Helsinki church, practitioners held banners and set up poster boards. They also collected signatures to condemn the CCP's brutal persecution.
  • Austria: Practitioners Expose the CCP's Ten-year Persecution of Falun Gong

    The head of the Austrian Falun Dafa Association called on all media outlets to focus on the CCP's persecution of Falun Gong practitioners. It has been 10 years since the CCP started suppressing Falun Gong. The representative stated, "It has been verified that at least 3,200 Falun Gong practitioners have been tortured to death in China by the CCP."
  • Austria: "The Art Works Are So Touching"

    This is the first time the "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance" art works were exhibited in Austria. The exhibition was held in the "Time" art gallery in the centre of Vienna from June 16 to June 27, 2009. It attracted a large number of painters and artists. Many were impressed by the skilful techniques of the participating painters.
  • United Kingdom: Falun Gong Participates in Edinburgh International Arts Festival Parade

    On August 9, 2009, Falun Gong practitioners from UK were again invited to take part in the famous parade of Edinburgh International Arts Festival. The Falun Gong procession consisted of banners, dancers, a float with the theme of "Falun Dafa is Good" and a waist drum group. Dancers in brightly-coloured costumes moved gracefully with fans in their hands.
  • France: Practitioners Hold Press Conference in the National Assembly

    To expose the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) brutal persecution of Falun Gong, the French Falun Dafa Association held a press conference in the National Assembly on the date marking the tenth year of the CCP's persecution of the practice.
  • Germany: "You must keep going"

    On July 25 2009, Falun Gong practitioners from Germany and Switzerland held an 'information day' in the famous tourist city of Freiburg im Breisgau, which is located in the scenic Black Forest of southern Germany. The event was to introduce local residents to the practice of Falun Gong and expose the Chinese Communist regime's brutal persecution of the practice.
  • Finland: Tourists and Locals Inspired by Practitioners' Peaceful Resistance to the Communist Regime's Persecution

    Falun Gong practitioners in Finland held activities in a riverside park near downtown Helsinki to introduce Falun Gong and expose the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) ten-year persecution. The practitioners hung banners that read "Falun Dafa is good" and "Stop the CCP's persecution of Falun Gong", set up poster boards and handed out flyers and newspapers.
  • Russia: Practitioners Protest Persecution by the CCP in Front of Chinese Embassy

    From 6 to 9 p.m. on July 21, 2009, Falun Gong practitioners held a protest in front of the Chinese Embassy in Moscow against the CCP's ten-year persecution of Falun Gong. They also held a candlelight vigil to commemorate fellow practitioners who were tortured to death in China.
  • Sweden: Introducing Falun Gong and Exposing the Persecution on Gotland Island

    Many people signed their names protesting the persecution and calling for an end to the CCP's harvesting of organs from living Falun Gong practitioners. They called upon people from all walks of life to pay attention to the persecution of Falun Gong by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), see clearly the CCP's wicked nature, and stop the persecution.
  • Germany: Spectators of a Torture Re-enactment Sign a Petition to Condemn the Brutal Persecution

    Practitioners held an activity to raise awareness about the persecution of Falun Gong on July 25, 2009. They told passersby about the ten-year brutal persecution against Falun Gong and collected signatures on a petition calling on the German government to use all possible channels to end the harvesting of Falun Gong practitioners' organs in China.
  • Turkey: Activities to Raise Awareness of the Persecution

    On the afternoon of July 18, 2009, Turkish practitioners held a series of activities at Aykut Barka Park in Istanbul to expose the Chinese Communist Party's atrocities against Falun Gong practitioners and to commemorate fellow practitioners who died during the persecution. The practitioners then demonstrated the five sets of Falun Gong exercises.
  • Finland: Practitioners Support Quitting the CCP and Protest the Persecution

    On July 10 and 11 2009, Falun Gong practitioners in Finland held an anti-torture photo exhibition in a well-known church and park to expose the Chinese Communist Party's persecution of Falun Gong and to support the 57 million Chinese people that have already quit the CCP and its affiliated organisations.
