Ukraine: Second "Falun Dafa Around The World" Picture Exhibition Is held at Bilhorod-Dnistrovsky

A photo exhibition entitled "Falun Dafa Around The World" was held at Bilhorod-Dnistrovsky in Ukraine from January the 23rd to January the 28th 2004. One hundred and twenty pictures were put on display. The picture exhibition was organised by Ukrainian Dafa practitioners, who have benefited greatly from learning Falun Dafa. -
French TV Report on “Spring Telling” Exhibition Explains the Facts About Falun Gong

A French TV station recently reported on Falun Gong practitioners' participation in the recent “Spring Telling” Exhibition in France. This provided a chance to clear the good name of Falun Gong and to explain the facts about the nature of Falun Gong and the persecution. This TV report was a significant opportunity to clear out the poisonous lies behind which the Jiang regime has hidden its evil persecution from the conscience of the world's people and the condemnation of the international community. -
Sweden: Teaching the Exercises to People who have been Waiting for Dafa for a Long Time

During the last weekend of February 2004, practitioners in Gothenburg, Sweden, held a two-day Falun Gong exercise class. During these two days, many people who wanted to learn the exercises attended the course on both days. Falun Gong asks for the Persecution of Practitioners in China to be Discussed in the EU-China Human Rights Dialogue
2004-03-05Bilateral talks on human rights between the European Union and China were recently held in Ireland’s capital, Dublin. Human rights organisations asked the Irish government to pay attention to China’s persecution of Falun Gong practitioners, along with China’s Internet censorship and information blockade. Falun Gong practitioners also took further steps in filing a lawsuit against the Chinese officials who persecute Falun Gong. -

Czech Republic: Zhang Cuiying holds a Successful Exhibition in the Parliament
2004-03-04Between January the 23rd and January the 27th, Chinese-Australian painter Zhang Cuiying’s art exhibition could be seen inside the Parliament building of the Czech Republic in Prague. Mrs. Zhang, known for both her beautiful traditional Chinese art and her time in a Chinese labour camp after peacefully speaking out against the persecution of the Chinese spiritual practice of Falun Dafa, is currently on a European tour with her paintings. During the tour, she is also bringing attention to the serious human rights violations against Falun Gong practitioners by telling her own story and talking about the harsh situation that many Falun Dafa practitioners are enduring in Mainland China. -

Slovakia: Introduction of the Book Falun Gong to the Slovak Public

On Wednesday the 25th of February at 17:00 in the bookstore “Pistek” in Bratislava, local practitioners introduced the book Falun Gong to the Slovak public. The book launch was attended by two reporters from Slovak radio and a cameraman from the nationwide television station TA3. Practitioners demonstrated the five sets of exercises and introduced Falun Gong to the visitors. -
UK: Practitioner who was Tortured in China Visits Scotland to tell People his Experience
2004-03-03A Chinese Falun Gong practitioner, who was detained and tortured in China in attempts to force him to betray his conscience and renounce Falun Gong, recently spent several days in Scotland. This visit attracted significant media coverage, including a supportive and in-depth account of his experiences in The Herald, Scotland’s best selling quality daily newspaper. He also gave a number of presentations to Scottish human rights groups, who were very supportive. -
Spain: Falun Gong Practitioners from Barcelona Call to Bring Jiang, Luo, Liu and Zhou to Justice outside the Chinese Consulate

Over the past few months, several dozen Falun Gong practitioners have been confirmed dead from the severe persecution in China. On February the 22nd 2004, Spanish Falun Dafa practitioners from Barcelona went to the Chinese Consulate in Barcelona to peacefully protest against the Jiang regime's unbridled persecution of innocent and kind Falun Gong practitioners. -

French Falun Dafa practitioners ran a stall in the Lyon “Spring Call” Exhibition last weekend, from February the 20th to the 22nd. Lyon is the second largest city in France. Practitioners had the opportunity to demonstrate the Falun Gong exercises and explain the ongoing persecution in China to approximately forty thousand people who visited the exhibition. -

Germany: Letting More People Know the Facts at Karlsruhe University
2004-03-02During this period of time, what touched us most were the students’ attitudes. Many people looked at the display boards, signed a petition to support us, and even provided us with good advice on how to let more people know the truth. Some people returned the materials after lunch, told us that they’d read them already and these materials could be provided to others. Most Chinese people received the materials with a smile. Chinese people who had doubts and didn’t take the materials earlier on, now stood in front of our stall seeking to learn the truth of the persecution of Falun Gong in China. -
Ireland: Falun Gong Practitioners Hold Peaceful Appeal Outside the Conference Hall for the European Union-China Human Rights Dialogue

The European Union Human Rights Dialogue with China drew attention from every major human rights organisation. Falun Gong practitioners in Ireland held a peaceful appeal outside the conference hall in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. They appealed for Jiang's regime to free two practitioners, Liu Feng and Yang Fang, who are not allowed to leave China and return to their studies in Ireland.
