I realized that it is only fear and our own notions that hold us back, while we practitioners are in fact capable of far more than we sometimes believe. It is very important to overcome the fear of tiredness. How could I be afraid of getting tired when Master has created everything in this universe and is always by my side?

When some tests come, they really are an examination. My understanding is that if you can step over a test quite easily, then the test was not set high enough. You are bound to face repeated tests of xinxing, again and again, ones that wrench at you and make you suffer, to see whether you can hold firm to being a cultivator, whether you can hold yourself to higher Fa principles and so make the right choice.

This tribulation is like a milestone for me, one of the biggest yet, because I must face one of my most difficult tests: the SELF test! To accept what I am, to accept what I am not, and to be guided only by my heart. When Master Li showed compassion to me and made me part of Dafa. I had no education, no English, no special abilities. I had only a heart, a heart for Dafa!

I would like to share my cultivation experience with you. I am a young practitioner who grew up in a Dafa environment, as my mother, grandmother, and aunt are all practitioners. Although I did not fully understand cultivation during my childhood and was not diligent, I always knew that Falun Dafa is good.

During this year’s Shen Yun coverage, Master let me see how other practitioners deal with hardship. Their state, with no negative thoughts at all, straightforward and pure, giving of themselves wholeheartedly, believing in Master one hundred per cent, free of the attachment of fear and free of worry, made me simpler and more composed too.

On another day, after the washing cycle ended, the washing machine door would not open. After ten minutes of trying, I had to call the facility manager to solve the problem. In both situations, I discovered that the root cause was either my fear of not knowing how to handle the situation or my negative thoughts about others. I understand that Master gives us tests so that we can solve them by looking within rather than outward.

What’s important, however, is that we’ve given a voice and a platform to people who haven’t received it from others, and we’ve shown them that they can trust The Epoch Times. They also have the opportunity to experience the practices of the CCP firsthand. Everything is arranged by Master, and we play our part in it.

Having passed this test, I felt I had grown a great deal. I used to fear trouble, ordeals, and that bad things would happen. Now, I have come to understand that a cultivator must look at things the other way around. I have understood that one must think about everything from a cultivator's perspective; I have grasped what righteous thoughts and righteous actions truly are; and I have eliminated my attachment to relying on others.

I would suggest that everyone who can should start a small group in their own area in a similar way. You will then experience the incredible joy of helping our revered Master find people who have been waiting for Dafa through numerous lifetimes. We all have our own paths to follow in Dafa, as the Great Way has no form. In my cultivation, I have never had any doubts about the Fa or our Master—and I have finally come to understand why.

I have gradually come to understand one thing: whether a person is capable is not, in itself, what matters. What matters is whether that capability is put to use in projects that save sentient beings. If it is not, then under the influence of the self it can very easily do damage instead. Having understood this, I remind myself constantly to be as calm and as kind towards others as I can.

Not long after, my husband was in a car accident while driving to collect our daughter from school. Although the car was badly damaged, my family members were unharmed. This made me feel all the more that my family and I were under Master's compassionate protection, and that I truly had to cultivate well and not let down Master's painstaking efforts on our behalf.

The issue of feeling uncomfortable within society has accompanied me since childhood. My parents saw that I did not react in a standard way for my age, and I was later diagnosed as being on the autistic spectrum. This has accompanied me to this day as my label as a person. At the very beginning of my cultivation, I joined the Tian Guo Marching Band, since I am quite good at music. I can assume that Master has arranged this for my cultivation path.

From the Fa I understand that all the trouble and difficulty we meet at this stage in our families, at work, and in society has an element of our cultivation in it, and that as long as we raise our xinxing we can get through it. At the same time, evil factors try to use karma and the attachments we are unaware of to arrange trouble and interference for us, and we need to negate all of this completely, from the basis of Fa-rectification cultivation.

That evening we had a group Fa study and I shared with the whole group about the situation and the interference. I felt a lot of pressure on my shoulders and I already had an apology ready for the group for having acted too impulsively when I accepted the opportunity in the first place. Perhaps the whole situation was my fault. But to my surprise, the reaction of the group made the whole situation change instantly.

I am a young Dafa practitioner currently in my twenties. I began cultivating Falun Dafa when I was little. I discovered that once I stopped chasing fame and gain, the suffering of never being satisfied dissolved along with it. Desire is a bottomless pit. The pursuit of empty fame and fleeting profit can never bring true satisfaction—it only draws one in ever deeper. Lost in the pursuit of fame and gain, one forgets the true purpose of coming to this world.
