Torture, Death Cases, Organ Harvesting

  • Fellow Practitioners Who Didn't Give Your Names: Where Are You?

Another practitioner and I went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong in December 2000. We were arrested and jailed at the Haidian Detention Centre in Beijing. On New Year's morning, 2001, the police loaded Falun Gong practitioners onto buses and we were sent to the northeast area. One bus held 50 practitioners. Endless numbers of white buses travelled one behind each other along a curving mountain highway. The police said, "It is a secret where you are being sent. All we can tell you is you are going to the northeast area." (Translator's note: People usually call the three Chinese provinces of Heilongjiang, Liaoning and Jilin the "northeast" area).
  • Mr. Zhang Anpu Tortured to Death

38-year-old Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Zhang Anpu was arrested on April 6th, 2006. Inside the detention centre, Mr. Zhang Anpu was cruelly beaten by guards, causing his whole body to swell, and he appeared to have heart disease. The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) officials extorted four thousand yuan from his family, and released him at 11:00 a.m. on April 29th. He died as a result of torture on April 30th, 2006. The right side of his lower back had a red mark that covered a large area, and there was swollen tissue behind his neck.
  • Mr. Jia Jingwen's Black Hair Turned Grey within Three Months of Persecution at Jinzhou Forced Labour Camp

"One day at end of July 2004, the police arrested me and sent me to Jinzhou Forced Labour Camp. Because I refused to follow their orders to get my hair cut and wear the prison uniform, they brutally beat me and put me into the "small cell for new arrivals." As soon as I arrived there, I saw a man with his hands cuffed behind his back, and wearing a helmet. He was very thin and had a grey beard, which almost covered his face. At first, I did not realise that he was my fellow practitioner Mr. Jia Jingwen. Although we had been close friends for over a year, I did not recognise him until I took a close look."
  • Two Practitioners from Sichuan and Liaoning Provinces Died from Persecution

Ms. He Kechun, 60 years old, was arrested by the police from the National Security and was "unlawfully sentenced". Later, she was harassed many times by police. Consequently, she passed away on March 25th, 2006. Ms. Zhen Xueru was arrested when she went to Beijing to appeal. She was returned to her hometown and fined 2,300 yuan. Police officers often went her house to harass, intimidate, and threaten her which made her ill. Because she could not practise Falun Dafa her illness became worse. She could not walk or take care of herself. She died on January 11th, 2005.
  • Informing the World About Labour Camps, Detention Centres, Prisons, and Hospitals in Mainland China

In March of 2005 at Wanjia Forced Labour Camp, all inmates, including Falun Gong practitioners, were ordered to have their blood drawn and tested. They said that they were testing us for infectious diseases. Everyone had a full test tube, which was the width of a thumb, filled with our blood. Every test tube was numbered. During the procedure, the prison hospital director was very aggressive and at the same time afraid that anyone might refuse. Thinking back, I'm speculating - was this in reality to build a database for live organ harvesting from Falun Gong practitioners?
  • Ms. Zhao Dewen Suffers Agonising Death at the Hands of Police and Drug Addicts in the Tianjin Women's Forced Labour Camp in 2003

Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Zhao Dewen was 52 years old. The police incited drug addicts to use violent sexual assault on her, which caused Zhao to bleed profusely. Zhao Dewen suffered extreme pain. She was persecuted to death on June 3rd, 2003. In order to cover up the truth of this event, the forced labour camp sent a notice to Zhao Dewen's home saying she committed suicide. The police even fabricated the suicide scene. When her family helped to change her clothing, they found a big hole under her arm was still bleeding. Her back was black. Her private part was still bleeding.
  • Some Thoughts on the CCP's Bloody Persecution in Concentration Camps

I was shocked after reading reports that exposed those Chinese Communist Party (CCP) agents who were harvesting organs from living Falun Dafa practitioners at the Sujiatun Concentration Camp in Shenyang. Although I was shocked, these findings came as no surprise. In 2002, when I was unconstitutionally detained in the so-called "Legal Education Programme" (a brainwashing centre) I heard from the doctors there about harvesting human organs and some other horrible stories. I didn't pay too much attention to these stories then. Based on the doctors' discussions and on those from the "helping and educating" people, I could see that the CCP is capable of doing anything during this persecution of practitioners who firmly believe in Dafa.
  • Ms. Tan Xiufen Died from Jumping off a Building After Being Tortured to Mental Instability

Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Tan Xiufen was 44, and a teacher. On September 28th, 2005, policemen stormed into the campus, ransacked her home, and arrested and detained her in the County Detention Centre. In mid February 2006, she was sent to the Tiandong County Hospital. She was dying, very thin, and had an unsteady mind. She could not talk at the time. She had totally lost the ability to take care of herself. On March 27th, 2006, she jumped from the fifth floor of her apartment building, and died on March 28th, 2006.
  • A Call to Rescue Practitioner Ms. Gao Hui of Changsha City

Gao Hui and little Huang Ren were a happy mother and son. Police arrested Ms Gao at home in December 2005. Ms Gao Hui has now spent almost four months jailed in a detention centre. At Changsha City Detention Centre, Gao went on a hunger strike to protest her detainment. Gao Hui's five-year-old has become very unhappy and withdrawn since his mother's arrest. Sometimes, he will have a tantrum for no reason. One night, her son said to his uncle, "I really miss Mum."
  • Older Practitioner Ms Sun Suzhen Persecuted to Death in Liaoning Province Women's Prison in 2005

55-year-old Sun Suzhen, lived in Liaoning Province. She was sentenced to five years imprisonment in 2003 and sent to the Liaoning Provincial Woman's Prison. During her years in prison, nobody ever visited Ms. Sun or sent her any money. The jail guards didn't allow anyone to help her out, and for toilet paper she was reduced to using used tissue. Owing to the long-term persecution, Ms. Sun's health sharply deteriorated, and she couldn't complete the overloaded work quota assigned by the prison authorities. Guards frequently tried to force her to finish the quota by using electric baton shocks or by making her squat down. Criminal inmates also beat her. Under intense physical and psychological pressure, Ms. Sun Suzhen passed away on March 25th, 2005.
  • Brutal Cases of Persecution in Helongjiang Province

Ning Jun was an over 50-year-old practitioner. He had been detained in a detention centre, in brainwashing classes and a forced labour camp for persisting in Falun Dafa cultivation and for exposing the persecution. Ning Jun developed scabies. Moreover, he suffered from additional brutal tortures. The police often shocked him with electric batons. He also suffered a torture called "sitting in an airplane," where his hands were handcuffed behind his back and one end of a rope that was tied to the handcuff was pulled up so high that he would hang in the air. This torture is excruciating. Ning Jun was sent to the Mudanjiang Prison before the 2004 Chinese New Year. In September 2004, his condition became critical. Mr. Ning died on August 12th, 2005.
  • Torture Methods Used in the Eighth Ward of Liaoning Province Women's Prison

Practitioners who refuse to accept the brainwashing are under close monitoring 24 hours a day. They have to do labour during the day, but are tortured in the Water Room, Shower Room, Book Room, Activity Room, etc. The torture means include being stripped of their clothes, having dozens of pans of cold water poured over them, standing inside the water pan overnight with only underwear on, and having their private parts kicked. They are tortured like this for several months continuously, leaving some with urinary disorders.
  • Four Falun Dafa Practitioners in Hubei Province Die as a Result of Persecution

In August 2001 Mr. Li Zhijia, 49, was distributing materials exposing the persecution and was arrested and sentenced to the Shayang Forced Labour Camp for a year after he was reported to the police. During his forced labour term, he was severely persecuted. He developed stomach disease, which steadily worsened. After he was released, Li Zhijia was forcibly taken to a brainwashing centre. The guards in the centre continuously harassed him which caused his stomach disease to deteriorate further. Mr. Li passed away on March 3rd, 2006.
  • Xicheng Detention Centre in Beijing Secretly Relocated Practitioners in 2001

"In 2001 thousands of practitioners were being arrested every day and were detained in all the detention centres in the Beijing area. Most of the practitioners did not reveal their names or addresses, and each of them was given a number. Military doctors came every day to run physical tests, measure blood pressure, and carry out force-feedings. Every few days, there would be a group of very firm and healthy practitioners being secretly relocated. We were told that they were sent to the Northwestern area for tree planting and "re-education," and yet, once they were gone, there was no more news about them, dead or alive."
  • Masanjia Forced Labour Camp Deceives Reporters

"When I read the article "Comments on the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs' Response to the Sujiatun Concentration Camp" on Clearwisdom.net, I recalled a fact on how the Masanjia Forced Labour Camp deceived reporters. In March 2001, the camp authorities tensed up. Besides the routine forced labour, some detainees were designated to do sanitation work. All of the tabulations displayed in the corridor to assess Falun Gong practitioners were removed, and the entertainment facilities like volleyball, skipping rope and poker were showcased. An insider disclosed that some reporters would come after the "two conferences.""
