Ms. Zhao Shuyuan is a Falun Dafa practitioner from Karamay City, Xinjiang Province. She has been illegally sentenced to nine years in prison for appealing for justice for Falun Dafa. She was illegally imprisoned in Xinjiang Province Women's Prison from the beginning of 2003. When The prison guards used all kinds of methods to brainwash her into renouncing Falun Dafa. They repeated the "brainwashing class" again and again, but Zhao Shuyuan still persists in her belief. -
55 Year Old Outstanding Teacher Ms. Zhang Chunlan Died as a Result of Torture at Dalian City's Forced Labour Camp - Belated News
2004-12-26Ms. Zhang Chunlan was 55 year old outstanding teacher from Liaoning Province. As she was persistent in practising Falun Dafa, Zhang Chunlan was sentenced to forced labour for two years and was sent to Dalian City Forced Labour Camp. She was forced to do heavy labour, and the living conditions there were extremely terrible. Under these conditions, and being isolated from the outside world, her health was seriously damaged. Ms. Zhang's weight dropped to about 34 kilos (75 pounds) from about 70 kilos (154 pounds). She died tragically on August 29, 2003. -
A Young Woman in Gansu Province Describes the Persecution She Suffered and Demands an Investigation
2004-12-25Ms. Zhang Ping is a 35-year-old professional from the former Gansu Provincial Trust Investment Company, Stock Exchange Department. She is suffering from persecution merely because she persists in adhering to the principles of "Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance" and clarifying the truth of Falun Gong to the government. Ms. Zhang says of her experience in detention, "Only because I shouted, "Falun Dafa is good," police brutally bashed my forehead. My mouth and nose bled profusely and my ears buzzed loudly. Policeman Wei Dong even tied my mouth and my neck with a piece of cloth that was one meter wide for four to five hours, which nearly suffocated me to death." -

2004-12-24"Uncle Wang was from my hometown. He was suffering from bone marrow cancer. Doctors considered him terminally ill and sent him home to die. One day a neighbour, a Falun Dafa practitioner, told him miraculous stories of Falun Gong and brought him a book. That day was a turning point in his life. Atrocities at Baimalong Women's Forced Labour Camp
2004-12-18Since April 2004, Falun Dafa practitioners illegally detained at Baimalong Women's Forced Labour Camp in Hunan Province, have again suffered brutal persecution. Some were shocked with electric batons and others were injected with drugs that damage the nervous system. Some were hit and beaten as well as kicked, while others were forced to squat on their heels for six days to cause the collapse of the intestines. Some practitioners were forced to stand still on top of a tiny stool for six days nonstop, even when eating. -
Zhang Shousheng: Tortured for Wanting to Be a Good Person and Speaking the Truth

"At the end of October 1999, I went to Beijing to appeal on behalf of Falun Dafa. When I attempted to practise the Falun Gong exercises outside of the People's Great Hall, I was arrested and sent to the Qianmen Police Station. 2004-12-16On February 16, 2004, the guards at Shuanghe Forced Labour Camp in Heilongjiang Province read materials that defamed Falun Dafa loudly and attempted to force the practitioners to write the Three Statements. Because the practitioners refused, their hands and feet were shackled onto the iron chair and ropes were tied around their limbs so that the practitioners could not stand, sit or squat. Then the guards would order their assistants to pick the practitioners up by the ropes and drop them on the floor. They also yelled at the practitioners, "We have contacted the cremator. If you die from this, it will be counted as suicide." -
Atrocities at the Banqiao Women's Forced Labour Camp in Tianjin
2004-12-14At Banqiao Women's Forced Labour Camp in Tianjin City, Falun Dafa practitioners detained are forced to do the most filthy and labour intensive jobs. They were also insulted and abused continuously by the prison guards and criminals. The main job in the camp is to grade and sort dried beans. Steadfast practitioners, some over 70 years old, were forced to carry 50 - 60 kg (1 kg = 2.2 lb) bags of seed, and they were forbidden to stop and rest or to help each other. When everyone finished the day's work, some were tortured, being forced to stand in a painful position until midnight or later. -
How I Was Tortured by the Police in Heilongjiang Province (Re-enactment Photo)
2004-12-11"From October 3 to October 18, 2000, the head of the Police Department in Yichun City, ordered police and others to brutally torture me several times. One of the tortures involved having hot water poured on my head for four hours until they ran out of hot water. They then beat me with a wooden stick. One time they incessantly beat me for more than six hours. They also whipped me on the back with belts and stabbed me on the neck and back with cactus thorns."
