  • Czech Republic: Exposing the CCP's Persecution of Falun Gong to the People of Prague

    November 17th, 2006, was the Seventh Anniversary of the Czech Communist Party’s dissolution. On this day, Czech Falun Gong practitioners took the opportunity to hold a series of activities to introduce Falun Gong and expose the persecution of the practice by the CCP in China.
  • Slovakia: David Kilgour Informs MPs from the Slovak Parliament about Organ Harvesting in China

    David Kilgour, former Canadian State Secretary (Asia Pacific), visited Slovakia in order to publicise his investigation into organ harvesting from Falun Gong practitioners in Chinese prisons. In the morning he met with the leadership of the Committee for human rights, other minorities and the women of the Slovak parliament. The subsequent press conference for the Slovak media was attended by both Slovak press agencies and national TV.
  • Germany: People Come One After Another to Learn Falun Gong

    In addition to learning the five sets of exercises, people also learned about the characteristics of Falun Gong, which emphasises a big change in mentality. When the learners heard that Falun Gong had been banned in China and that practitioners were brutally mistreated, they all thought it was unbelievable and asked for the reason. The assistant told them that it is because the Communist Party upholds Falseness, Wickedness, and Competitiveness, and cannot tolerate “Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance.
  • United Kingdom: "Friends of Falun Gong" Student Society at Bristol University Takes Part in Freshers Fair

    On October 5th and 6th, the Student Society ‘‘Friends of Falun Gong’’ at Bristol University participated in the 2006 Fresher’s Fair. Many Chinese students came to our table and we told them how we had benefited from practising Falun Gong. Some encouraged us to continue to practise, some of them read the information we provided. There were also some who did not dare to take leaflets.
  • Sweden: Introducing Falun Gong to the People of Stockholm

    Since the CCP began to persecute Falun Gong, especially after it staged the 'self-immolation' on Tiananmen Square, some Swedish people have also misunderstood Falun Gong.     Falun Gong practitioners were invited to take part in the Cambridge Multiculture and Sports Festival. In the festival, practitioners showed local residents what Falun Gong is and informed them about the persecution by the Communist regime in China. The Mayor of Cambridge complimented Falun Gong practitioners on their contribution to the community.
  • Irish Times: China to be Questioned on 'Organ Harvesting'

    "China's ambassador to Ireland is to be asked to appear before an Oireachtas committee to discuss claims that the Chinese authorities have been harvesting bodily organs from prisoners. A report investigating alleged organ harvesting of Falun Gong practitioners in China was presented to the Joint Committee on Foreign Affairs today. Former Canadian secretary of state for the Asia Pacific region, David Kilgour, who co-wrote the report with international human rights lawyer David Matas, addressed the committee today."
  • Germany: Explaining the Facts of the Persecution at Mainz City in Rheinland-Pfalz State

    On November 18th 2006, German practitioners reenacted the Chinese Communist regime's cruel atrocities of harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners. Many kind-hearted people were shocked by the Chinese regime's atrocities. After learning the facts, they signed the petition one after another, calling for an end to the persecution.

    "This cruel persecution is completely based on lies. In this persecution of innocent people, the lies have served as the worst, formless killer. The lies have incited this society's hatred and exclusion of the Falun Gong community. The lies have deceived the world's people into following the CCP's persecution of Falun Gong. Therefore, it is distressing to see that you are spreading lies and hatred in Finland and poisoning the public. What you have done is already beyond the limit of your duties as consulates. You have acted as accomplices to the CCP's persecution of Falun Gong."
  • Prague Daily Monitor: March in Prague Against Human Rights Violations in China on Friday

    "Organs are removed alive from imprisoned members of the Falun Gong movement in China," David Kilgour, lawyer and former Canadian State Secretary for Asia and the Pacific Area, says in a report he presented at a seminar in the Chamber of Deputies today. Kilgour says in his report that people are killed during the removal of organs or immediately after it. He plans to speak at a rally at Prague Castle tomorrow that will convene after a public march across Prague to raise awareness of the issue.
  • United Kingdom: Striking Performances at the Cambridge Multicultural Festival

    On Saturday 18th November 2006, Cambridge City Council invited Falun Gong practitioners to its Multicultural and Sports Festival as representatives of the local Chinese community. Practitioners put on a powerful show of dancing and music. The hall was packed. The show started and finished with a demonstration of the five sets of Falun Gong exercises.
  • Chinese Embassy in Ireland Refuses to Renew Falun Gong Practitioner's Passport

    "In April 2006, I went to the Chinese Embassy in Dublin to have my passport renewed. At that time one of staff in the Embassy first helped me go through some formalities, accepted my passport and then told me that I could come to collect my new passport in four weeks. On the 8th of May, I went to the Chinese Embassy for my new passport. When I went to the window to get my passport, I told one of staff the reason why I was there. She simply checked and then told me: “I haven’t got your passport."
  • Czech Republic: Third Falun Dafa Experience Sharing Conference is Held in Prague

    On November 18th 2006, the Third Cultivation Experience Sharing Conference in the Czech Republic was held in the Agricultural University in Prague. Ten practitioners from the area shared their experiences of how they have improved themselves through cultivation and during their work to let people know about the persecution against Falun Gong.

    Falun Gong practitioners in Germany organised an activity at the St. Mary’s Square in the centre of Munich, exposing the Chinese Communist regime’s trade in organs harvested from living Falun Gong practitioners and supporting over fifteen million Chinese people who have quit the Chinese Communist Party and its associated organisations.
