One Senator was deeply moved by the experiences of Falun Gong practitioners in China, as well as their kindness, and he was touched by the beauty of Zhang Cuiying’s paintings. He offered his help and said that he believes Dafa practitioners can find a lot of support among the Czech government officials. -
Croatia: Human Rights Official at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Encourages Practitioners to Appeal for Human Rights

In April 2003, practitioner Zhang Cuiying exhibited her artwork in Zagreb. She also accompanied practitioners to visit the Chief of the Human Rights Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, who encouraged her to continue holding exhibitions to help people learn the true facts about the persecution of Falun Gong. The practitioners presented detailed information about the genocide lawsuit against Jiang Zemin to the Foreign Ministry. -
Finland: Practitioners Introduce Falun Gong in the City of Oulu

Practitioners demonstrated the Falun Gong exercises on a pedestrian street in the centre of the city, and displayed materials as well as handing out flyers that exposed the persecution of Falun Gong in China. Many people were happy to take the flyers and stopped to talk to the practitioners to learn more. -
Germany: Practitioners Clarify the Facts about the Persecution to Commemorate the Fourth Anniversary of the April 25th Appeal

Practitioners quietly practised the exercises, sent forth righteous thoughts, and exposed the Jiang regime’s persecution of Falun Gong by displaying posters and banners. The content of the posters was comprehensive and people read them carefully. Many people wanted to learn more about Falun Gong and we often had the chance to talk with people individually. -

2003-04-29"Baolian is one of the many thousands of unlawfully detained Falun Gong practitioners in China. The persecution in China is still going on. As far as we know, thousands of practitioners have been incarcerated in mental hospitals and abused. Many hundreds have been sentenced to up to eighteen years imprisonment. More than 600 Falun Gong practitioners have died whilst in police custody. Many of them were badly tortured." -
Hungary: Explaining the Facts to Tourists and Chinese People in Budapest

Practitioners hung banners above the grass near the entrance of the park. Accompanied by peaceful Dafa music, some practitioners practised the exercises and sent forth righteous thoughts, whilst others distributed leaflets and talked to the tourists. The peaceful music and graceful exercises attracted the attention of many people who stopped to watch. -

Every day I read about practitioners being subjected to severe physical, mental and sexual abuses and I dread to think what Yongjie might have suffered. She is a sweet-natured person who always thinks of others first and would never hurt anyone. She has not committed any wrongdoings and poses no danger to anyone. She does not belong in a labour camp that is meant for criminals. It is an insult to human dignity to put good people in those places." -
UK: Activities in London to Commemorate the Peaceful Appeal on the 25th April 1999

On April 25th 2003, Falun Gong practitioners met at the Chinese Embassy in London and held a press conference as part of the worldwide activities on this day. Practitioners sent forth righteous thoughts at the top of every hour to support the lawsuit against Chinese dictator Jiang Zemin, instigator of the persecution against Falun Gong. -

Austria: Many Tourists Learn the Truth in Salzburg

Practitioners held an activity in Salzburg to commemorate their fellow practitioners who have been persecuted to death in China, and to expose this evil persecution. People asked why Jiang is persecuting Falun Gong and others asked where they could learn the Falun Gong exercises. People came in droves to take leaflets from the practitioners. -
Speech by a Swiss practitioner at a Conference in the United Nations on the Abolition of Execution
2003-04-24"In prisons and in forced labour camps, persecutors use the most barbaric and horrific torture methods known to human civilisation. An incomplete report shows over 100 methods being used to torture or to kill Falun Gong practitioners, including: beating to death, burning alive, tying to motorcycles and dragging to death, throwing from high buildings, subjecting to electric shock treatment (to destroy the mind), raping, gang raping and throwing stripped female practitioners into male prison cells, stretching and tying practitioners’ limbs to the four corners of a metal bed, force feeding highly concentrated liquid pepper and saline solutions, and so on. Ten thousand practitioners have been forcefully sent to psychiatric hospitals to be tortured with injections of large doses of drugs that damage the central nervous system." -
Germany: Revealing the Truth and Supporting the Trial Against Jiang Over the Easter Holiday

On Easter Saturday, Dafa practitioners held an information day in the centre of Berlin. They supported the lawsuit against dictator Jiang Zemin by sending forth righteous thoughts and by telling many people about the crimes he has committed against peaceful and innocent Falun Dafa practitioners. -
Celebrating Eight Years Since Master Li Taught the Fa in Sweden (photos)
2003-04-22It was during Easter 1995 that Falun Gong was first introduced to Sweden by Master Li Hongzhi, and this is almost exactly 8 years ago today. At that time, Master Li gave a 7-day lecture in Gothenburg. Dafa practitioners in Sweden would like to send their most heartfelt thanks to Master for teaching the Fa in Sweden, and for the 8 valuable years that they have had the chance to cultivate in Falun Dafa. -
Italy: Practitioners Outline the Persecution in the Meeting Hall of the Vieira Provincial Government
2003-04-22We brought some printed photos to introduce Falun Dafa. At first, we planned to put them in some eye-catching outdoor places. But that evening the audience who attended the meeting took all of the photos. They said that they wanted to hang them in hospitals, schools, and some other public place for people to see, so that more Italian people can have a better understanding of Falun Gong.
