United Kingdom: Singing to Raise People’s Concern about the Orphans of the Torture Victims in China.

An eye-catching banner hanging behind the performers told the audience the purpose of the concert: “Rescue the Orphans of Torture Victims in China.” Though most of the performers were amateur, the audience was deeply touched by their singing, dancing and their sincerity. Among them were several young girls whose singing and dancing particularly drew attention. -
Finland: Candlelight Vigil for Murdered Falun Gong Practitioners During the World Track and Field Championships in Helsinki

On August 13th, 2005, the World Track and Field Championships held in Helsinki were coming to an end. Falun Gong practitioners lit candles and sat silently in the glow of the candle light. We sat near each other and gave expression to our grief for the deaths of so many practitioners and called for justice. Let’s end the persecution together. -
Italian State TV Station Broadcasts a Special Programme on the Persecution of Falun Gong

On June 13th, Italian State TV Station LA 7 broadcast a special programme regarding the Falun Gong practitioners in China who have been brutally persecuted by the Chinese Communist Party. The programmes title was “China's Shadow” and it lasted around an hour. The producer of this special program, Ms. Flaminia Lubin, decided to produce this film after seeing an anti-torture exhibition held by Falun Gong practitioners in New York. She hoped to let Italians understand the cruel persecution of the Falun Gong practitioners. -

Finland: Introducing Falun Dafa and Exposing the Persecution During the World Track and Field Championship Tournaments

On August 7th, Finnish practitioners performed the exercises and introduced Falun Gong in the park next to where the athletics World Championship Tournaments were held. A lot of tourists from different countries were visiting during the Tournaments, and some of those passing by our exercise site were fascinated and asked practitioners about Falun Gong. -

In order to draw attention to the orphaned children of Falun Gong practitioners tortured to death by the evil Chinese Communist regime, UK Falun Gong practitioners held an open-air concert called “Rescue the orphans of Falun Gong practitioners” on August 7th, 2005, in Edinburgh. Most of the programmes in this concert were created by UK practitioners. -

Finland: Letting People Know the Truth about Falun Gong at the World Track and Field Games in Helsinki.
2005-08-20The games returned to Helsinki, Finland, where they were originally held in 1983. There were 1,900 athletes from two hundred countries participating in the various contests and more than one hundred and ninety countries and regions participated in the live broadcasts. It is estimated that four billion people will watch the broadcast worldwide. After learning about this, Falun Gong practitioners in Finland and other North European countries arranged the activity to tell as many people as possible learn about the persecution. -
Germany: Falun Gong Practitioners Invited to Participate in the Hannover Festival

The Ferryman’s Festival is a popular open-air festival that takes place close to a small river. The organiser invited us to participate when we met at one of our Falun Gong events because he noticed that our demonstrations of paper Lotus Flower folding and Chinese calligraphy were extremely popular. On both days of the festival, our yellow booth was a great attraction. -
Italian Newspaper "Unità" Publishes an Article on the Persecution of Falun Gong
2005-08-20"I was taking a walk in New York City. On the corner of Fifth Avenue near Central Station, many Chinese were giving out fliers to passers-by and telling their stories. They seemed very concerned and needed help. The fliers they gave out described the gross human rights abuses currently happening in China. I spoke to them to find out more. These Chinese people then started recounting to me the tragedies that happened. They said the government in Beijing persecuted a spiritual practice called Falun Gong."
