The Persecution of Practitioner Lu Yongchang and His Family: All Four Family Members Sentenced to Long Prison Terms

Around 9 p.m., the whole family went to bed. The flashing lights of a police car woke Lu Guixia up. There was a loud noise as the door was pried open, then the police broke into the house, carrying shovels. Lu Guixia didn't know what was going on and jumped out a window. She was knocked to the ground by police officers that were hiding there. Several policemen beat her savagely and dragged her to a waiting police car. She was taken to the police substation in Jiutai City, where officers were posted to guard her and the other three members of the Lu family. -
The Repeated Persecution of Ms Mo Yimei from Yangchun City, Guangdong Province
2005-07-21In June of 2004, several officers drove to Ms. Mo Yimei's fruit shop and tried to force her into their car. Yimei cried out: "The police are seizing good people!" She sat on the floor and many bystanders gathered. Some said, "It is not right to seize people without reason!" "She is a good person, why do they arrest her?" The officers saw that many people were against them, so they fled with their car, leaving Yimei behind. -
Practitioner Ms Wang Aihua from Chongqing City Is Imprisoned
2005-07-20On the evening of June 30, 2005, practitioner Wang Aihua was arrested when she was distributing leaflets exposing the persecution. The police searched her home and took away two computers (one was newly bought for her child's studies), Falun Dafa books and other materials. Her daughter was left at home with an eighty-year-old grandparent. Wang Aihua is currently detained at the detention centre in Chongqing City. -
Falun Dafa Practitioner Ms Yan Xiaoge from Hebei Province, Abducted and Persecuted, Her 12-year-old Daughter Suffers Intimidation from Police
2005-07-18On June 29, 2005, the 12-year-old daughter of Falun Dafa practitioner Yan Xiaoge from Li County, Hebei Province was waiting for some delicious food to be brought by her mother after she completed the elementary school graduate exam. But her mother didn't arrive. Instead, the police came and banged on the door. The daughter spent a fearful night at home, alone. Upon seeing the strangers outside the door, she was so frightened that she curled up in the corner of the room, trembling. She didn't dare to open the door. Whenever the police banged on the door, the child recoiled with fear. She still didn't know her mother had been arrested. The young girl had to silently weep alone for an entire night. -
Dafa Practitioner An Fengbo Sentenced - His Family Has No Way to Appeal

In 2001, Mr An Fengbo was sentenced to a two-year labour camp term in Jiutai Yinmahe Forced Labour Camp for practising Falun Gong. He suffered inhuman tortures and abuses by police and inmates. He lost all his front teeth from being savagely kicked in the mouth. He never gave in to the evildoers and continued to firmly appeal for Dafa. -
Chinese Student in Switzerland Appeals for the Rescue of his Illegally Imprisoned Mother in China
2005-07-14My name is Wang Xiaoyang and I am a Chinese student studying in Switzerland. I have three close relatives in China: my eighty-four-year old grandmother, my sixty-year old father who has not been well, and my fifty-four-year old mother. My mother is a Falun Gong practitioner and is the centre of the family, who provides both financial and spiritual support. They are ordinary law-abiding citizens whose only desire is to live a peaceful life. -
Ms. Jiang Hong from Hubei Province Was Arrested for the Seventh Time
2005-06-20On April 25, 2005 Gongan County policemen broke into the home of Falun Dafa practitioner Jiang Hong and confiscated her personal property. They took her to the county detention centre to be persecuted. It has been reported that because of practising Falun Dafa and telling the truth of the persecution to the public, Jiang Hong has already been arrested and imprisoned seven times. -
Practitioner Mr. Wen Cunfu and His Family Members Arrested in Liaoning Province
2005-06-16Police broke into the home of Mr. Wen Cunfu and arrested Mr. Wen's practitioner son, Mr. Wen Jingsong, and took him to the Hongqi Town Police Station. The next morning, Mr. Wen took his three-year-old granddaughter, his wife, second daughter and daughter-in-law to the police station to ask for the release of his son. The head policeman responded by ordering other police to violently handcuff Mr. Wen. However he had his granddaughter in his arms and she was crying and screaming. The police grabbed the little girl's feet and forcefully pulled her away from Mr. Wen. The little girl's ankles and chest was injured, and she was in pain for many days. Mr. Wen, his son (Wen Jingsong), his daughter-in-law, and his second daughter were all sent to prison. -
56 Year Old Ms. Liu Yawen Arrested While Distributing Information, Amnesty International Starts Rescue Campaign
2005-06-03According to an announcement by Amnesty International of the United States, 56- year-old Ms. Liu Yawen was arrested on March 31 in Beijing when she was distributing Video CDs containing information about Falun Gong. She was detained in isolation and subjected to interrogation in a detention centre in Beijing. It is likely that she was also brutally tortured. We have learned that officials at the detention centre won't allow Ms. Liu's family members to visit her. In the meantime, officials from the neighbourhood committee and the police station went to search Ms. Liu's house. -
A Call for UN Refugee Agency and International Human Rights Organisations to Help Rescue Falun Dafa Practitioner Ms Zhang Xinyi
2005-05-28Mrs. Zhang Xinyi and her husband were previously granted refugee status and were under the protection of the UN Refugee Agency in Cambodia. Nevertheless, the couple were deported back to China because she practises Falun Dafa. Then, on April 28, 2005, police officers from Hunan Province arrested Mrs. Zhang, ransacked her home and confiscated her passport. She is being held in a detention centre. -

Husband and wife Mr. Deng Yulin and Ms. Chi Hongtao were secretly arrested in 2004 in the so-called "9-18 Midnight Terror" planned by the 610 Office . They were then secretly sentenced to a nine-year jail term. Their 11 year old child was left at home alone. -
An Analysis of the Heavy Sentences Imposed by a Court in Beijing Against Ms. Chu Tong, Mr. Yu Chao and Mr. Wang Weiyu
2005-05-27The entire process used by the Chaoyang District Court of Beijing to try and deliver heavy sentences against Chu Tong, Yu Chao and Wang Weiyu was seriously flawed. Their arrest, prolonged detention, public prosecution and trial were based on unlawful applications of the law. None of the definitions of the nature of the "crimes", the investigation, the evidence, and the application of the laws followed proper procedures. This is a typical example of the Chinese Communist Party illegally manipulating the legal system in the persecution Falun Gong. -
"610 Office" Collaborates With Police to Persecute Practitioners, Terrorising an Elderly Grandmother and Her Grandson in Jiamusi City
2005-05-18In April 2002, "610 Office" officials in Jiamusi City came up with a sinister plan to persecute Falun Dafa practitioners. Five of them ended up arresting a group of practitioners, including an elderly lady of 80 and a child of just 2 years old. The child was panic-stricken when he saw so many policemen shouting demands at his grandmother. He hugged his grandmother's neck and buried his head deeply, not daring to look up again. The policemen struggled to prise the child away from his grandmother and eventually they were separated, with the poor child howling and crying. -
Is a Court that Judges "Truth, Compassion and Forbearance" Illegal a Qualified Court?
2005-05-11Because five other Falun Gong practitioners and I appealed to a higher court for justice over unjust sentences, we were brought to trial together. I was charged with distributing "reactionary" leaflets containing the words "Truth, Compassion, Forbearance" and I was sentenced to three years of imprisonment. The court, the Procuratorate, and police collaborated to distort and exaggerate the facts in my trial. They counted up the pages of material bound into books and decided that any page with "Truth, Compassion, Forbearance" was an "illegal leaflet." I asked, "How can just these few words 'Truth, Compassion, Forbearance' on a page qualify it as a 'reactionary leaflet'?" The judge answered, "'Truth, Compassion, Forbearance' is evil by itself." -
Police from Shandong Railroad System Arrest Falun Gong Practitioners Using Despicable Means
2005-05-07Shandong Province began a second large-scale arrest directed at Falun Gong practitioners and implemented a form of martial law. This spread to the railroad system, where officials used despicable means to arrest Falun Gong practitioners. At the entrance and exit of every railroad station in Shangdong Province, the police set up computers, and on-call officers are present around the clock. Most of these officers came from prisons and labour camps. They force any passenger that they suspect to be a Falun Gong practitioner to show his or her ID.
