Brutal Torture Suffered by Practitioner Mr. Dou Jinbao in Changle Forced Labour Camp

Changle Forced Labour Camp, Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Dou Jinbao was stripped naked, and his buttocks and bare feet were beaten with a belt until the belt was broken into three pieces and his buttocks showed traces of blood. Mr Dou recalls: "The head of the labour camp saw the scar on my head and asked me about it. I said it was due to a beating. The next day collaborators were sent to threaten me, telling me that I had to say that the scar was due to a boil I had had on my head. Because of the fear in my heart I cooperated with them." -
Stories of Practitioner Ms. Li Guangqin from Shandong Province During Her Imprisonment
2007-01-13Ms. Li Guangqin was sentenced to two and half years in Shandong Province Women's Forced Labour Camp. Once a guard was verbally abusing a practitioner. To support the practitioner, Ms. Li Guangqin started to call out, "Falun Dafa is good." Other practitioners followed her and called out together. The labour camp guards wanted the practitioners to write a so-called "education summary" but no one wrote anything. When they wanted to take a practitioner away, Li Guangqin held onto the practitioner and stopped them. Two male guards were called in and forcefully took Li Guangqin and the other practitioner to a solitary confinement cell. Li Guangqin was handcuffed to a heating pipe for three days and nights. -
Mr. Liu Ruisheng from Liaoyuan City, Jilin Province Secretly Sentenced to 9 Years in Prison
2007-01-12On April 23rd, 2006, Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Liu Ruisheng was arrested by State Security agents and detained for three months in the City Detention Centre. Liu Ruisheng vomited blood three times during this time period, and he was bailed out on the evening of July 28th, 2006. A few months later agents arrested him again at home. Mr. Liu's family heard that the Longshan District Court had sentenced Mr. Liu Ruisheng to nine years in prison. -
A Lecturer in Hebei Province Medical University Facing Trial
2007-01-12Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Feng Ruixue, a former lecturer, was arrested on April 6th, 2006, for distributing leaflets exposing the persecution on the Hebei Province Business University campus. The flyers exposed the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) harvesting of organs from living Falun Gong practitioners. Police detained Ms. Feng. She was scheduled to go on trial December 29th, 2006. -
Guards from Shijiazhuang City Forced Labour Camp Mentally Torment Falun Dafa Practitioners' Family Members
2007-01-12On the last Thursday of each month, the hours of 9-11 a.m. are the visiting hours for detained Falun Dafa practitioners in the Shijiazhuang City Labour Camp. On December 28th, 2006, in a small room in the Fifth Ward of the Camp, guards were checking every family member that came to visit. They had to first show the "non-practitioner" statement issued by the local police station, and then they had to read through a page full of words slandering Falun Dafa; otherwise, they were not allowed to visit. -
The 610 Office in Shanghai Is Obstructing Justice, Discouraging Ms. Zeng Aihua's Lawyer from Visiting Her
2007-01-11On May 23rd, 2006, Shanghai practitioner Ms. Zeng Aihua, 57 years old, a resident of Hong Kong, was arrested at home by police officers from Pudong New District Police Substation of Shanghai. Her home was ransacked and her belongings were confiscated. At present, the officials at the 610 Office of Shanghai are discouraging Ms. Zeng Aihua's lawyer from seeing her. Nobody has seen Ms. Zeng or heard anything about her for more than five months since her arrest. -
The Relentless Persecution of 63-year-old Ms. Wang Yunliao
2007-01-11At the end of 1999, when she told people about the benefits of practising Falun Gong at a train station, police officers arrested 63-year-old Ms. Wang Yunliao and kept her at a detention centre for two weeks. Her family was forced to pay 2,000 yuan to get her released. In 2003 she was arrested again and taken to brainwashing. They took turns intimidating her in an attempt to force her to give up Falun Dafa. In November 2006 Ms. Wang was arrested again and detained. -
Laishui County 610 Office Agents in Hebei Province Destroy the Homes of Two Falun Gong Practitioners in Broad Daylight
2007-01-10Laishui County 610 Office agents destroyed the homes of two Falun Gong practitioners on December 4th, 2006. They opened the front gate and barged inside the house. They completely destroyed all doors, windows, dishes and furniture, and some home appliances. The noise of furniture being smashed, breaking glass and barking dogs attracted several neighbours who gathered and watched the intruders. They removed the blade from a shovel and used the shovel handle to demolish items, including glass. Within 30 minutes, a clean and organised house was turned into a disaster zone. -
Ms. Cheng Hanbo Died at 49 as a Result of Torture at Jiamusi Forced Labour Camp in Heilongjiang Province

Since the beginning of the persecution in July 1999, Ms. Cheng Hanbo, a Falun Dafa practitioner, was subjected to inhuman torture by the local 610 Office, police, and guards at the detention centre and forced labour camp. Her family members were implicated under the Chinese Communist Party's "implication policy," and the local persecutors extorted more than 10,000 yuan from her family. Mrs. Cheng was tortured at Jiamusi Forced Labour Camp. She suffered cruel mental and physical torture, and she did not recover. To avoid further persecution, the family had to move. During the past several months, Ms. Cheng had difficulty eating. She died on December 17th, 2006, at the age of 49. -
A First-hand Account of the Brutal Torture Suffered by Dafa Practitioners in Baimalong Forced Labour Camp in Hunan Province
2007-01-09"They first began to brainwash me. During the day, I was attacked, threatened and insulted by a group of "transformed" former practitioners. During other times, guards threatened me with corporal punishment, beat me and limited visits to the toilet to wash and use the toilet. During the night, I was forced to watch videos slandering Teacher Li and Dafa. I was monitored continuously by two prisoners. They tortured me when I closed my eyes. One prisoner hit me and mocked me by saying, "Who hit you? Who witnessed it?" At times, I was forced to stand for the entire night and sometimes I had to walk without taking a rest. After ten days, I became absent minded due to sleep deprivation." -

Police from the 610 Office in Yanqing County, Beijing Arrested Twenty Dafa Practitioners in 2006
2007-01-09On June 28th, 2008, Shi Yingjie was arrested. He was thirty-one years old and an employee at the railway station. During his detention, he was tortured and developed the symptoms of heart attack, high blood pressure and stroke. Once he was on the brink of death and was sent to the Yanqing County Hospital. On September 19th, the Beijing Public Security Bureau arrested him again. He is now detained at the Second Custodial Station under the Seventh Department of the Public Security Bureau. -
Ms. Zhao Wenlan, 68, from Hebei Province Sentenced to 10 Years in Prison
2007-01-08Due to her beliefs in "Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance" and because she explained the facts about Falun Gong to people, Ms. Zhao Wenlan, a 68 year-old practitioner, has been arrested and detained on multiple occasions over the past seven years. She was sentenced to 10 years in prison in 2004 and is currently detained at Shijiazhuang Women's Prison. Zhao Wenlan was tortured with the handcuffed-behind-the back method for nine days: the victim's shoulders are pulled down heavily by handcuffs at the back. After a while, the handcuffs cut into the flesh and the hands turn purple. It is very painful, and the victim cannot perform daily functions, nor are they able to sleep. -
Guard in the No. 2 Forced Labour Camp in Shandong Province Threatens Practitioner "We Will Send You to the Hospital to Have Your Organs Harvested!"
2007-01-08The guards tortured practitioner Liu Quanyi by shocking him with electric batons. They kept him handcuffed for five days and nights. The guards ordered him to sit on a hard stool or stand for seventeen to eighteen hours each day. When Mr. Liu refused to give up Dafa, they transferred him to the No. 8 Division. Zheng Wanxin, head guard of the division, handcuffed him for eleven straight days and nights and then put him in solitary confinement. The guards also forced him to sit on a stool the entire time he was in isolation. One of the guards told him, "If you refuse to be 'transformed,' we will send you to the Qilu Hospital to have your organs harvested." -
Persecution at the Women's Forced Labour Camp in Shanxi Province
2007-01-08Practitioner Zhou Yating refused to be "transformed." Guards Li Zhen and Bai Xiao called her into the office and pinched her face, shoulders and back with 2.5 inch needles, which were used to sew mats. After the wounds healed, there were many round spots. Drug addict Zhang Fan, from Yulin, took a leather belt and tightened it around Zhou Yating's neck while she was sound sleeping. Zhou awakened and shouted for help, which saved her life. It is very common to be beaten or cursed daily. When Ms. Zhou Yating held a hunger strike to protest, she was violently force-fed multiple times.
